I can’t wait to move out !!!!! hot water works when it wants and on its good days you get a good 5 -7 mins of it … air units are a joke you have to let it run all day to have your apt cool in the summer and warm in winter which means PSEG bill is high the water bubble cheap floors dont belong in these apts for the rent they charge.

Office staff is rude and abrupt. They don't care to help on any issue, even if it's just requesting information, and have major attitude problem. Since they're in customer service, they should get a class on how to talk to residents because the way they are create a hostile customer centered relationship. I guess they don't care because they're already collecting your money!

I was a tenant here for a year. Kathee Cousins was one of the leasing agents who helped me find a good apartment for a reasonable price. I dropped off my keys moved out mid-June of 2020 and currently it is September 2020 and have not received my deposit money. I've been given a run around by Phillips Management with no call back or email. Kathee, who was so quick to reply to my emails before the lease signing, has not replied or given me any information about my deposit being returned to me.

I liked the Management Office. Kathee is very dedicated to her work. She is very responsive. I received her response in 5 mins after I sent an email regarding my concerns.
Other staffs are also excellent. If I need something regarding maintenance, I always get quick help.
This apartment is amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I am editing my prior review of 1 star. The management has really gone above and beyond to rectify what has transpired. John and Cathy really worked with me to understand my needs and really came through with a solution to accommodate our situation. We will be moving here shortly and we are looking forward to staying here. I really appreciate how they addressed my comments and just put their future resident at ease. They are simply excellent!

River Edge at Garfield is an excellent property. I have lived here for over a year now and have not had any problems. The management is excellent and very responsive with any minor issues within the unit. The entire staff is very polite, especially the Super of the property (Franco) who is very professional and readily available. Enjoy living here so far!

I have lived here for a little over a year and it’s a great pet friendly place to live. Franco is by far the best super. I have lived in many apartments and never have I had a super like him. He is always readily available and willing to help, fix or find a solution or whatever issue you may be having in your apartment. No matter what time of day it is, Franco is happy to help and goes above and beyond to make sure the issue is fixed.

This is easily the nicest and most well-run place I have ever lived in. I've lived here since they first opened, but recently they switched management companies, and WOW! Things got even better. Any problem gets solved right away, the company gets back to me right away, and the facilities have never looked cleaner or run better. Every morning I wake up in my beautiful bedroom I'm thankful that I found River Edge - I may never move out! If you're thinking of living here, I can't recommend it enough.
