I am starting to sell some of the high quality ingredients that we use here at the restaurant, this week for your at home grocery options we have. The New York Restaurant in downtown Harbor Springs offers an eclectic cuisine in a comfortable setting, overlooking Little Traverse Bay's waterfront.
We feature fine gourmet dining, a professional and attentive wait staff and talented bartenders. Our restaurant opens daily at 5:00 p.m. and features nightly appetizer and dinner specials. Please come as you are, we do not enforce a dress code. The New York is available for private parties throughout the year and we also offer a small private dining room for more intimate gatherings.

The place is such an amazing place. The service is always top notch. Even when they are slammed they give attentive service. They never rush you and have a good pace.
The food is always amazing! They really do have something for everyone.
As regulars there, they always know what we may like and we have a family member who is disabled and they know exactly how her order needs to be to accommodate for her needs.

Will not go back, admittedly we were late ,but they were not very nice about it. And it wasn't even busy.The service was poor, the food was nothing to write home about . Very snobby, they made you feel like you were a inconvenience. We told them that one person had a fish allergy but We had to leave early because he got sick immediately. We were there last year and it was better then. That's why we choose to go again this year.

Went there on a Sunday evening. Slow service, all 9 meals were cold. Server was understanding, management did nothing about it. The broccoli looked microwaved. 2 out of the 3 kinds of fish were unavailable. The specials were not available. When food came out they said some of our sides were not available as our food was being placed in front of us. Do a better job!

Can honestly say I'm beyond disappointed. We (my husband and I) decided to go out for a nice dinner. We made reservations at a few places but decided on The New York based on reviews. Wow. Service and food were okay. Can't really base it as good because we couldn't hear our server at all. We (a 2 top) were sat right in the middle of an ever expanding party for the regatta in Harbor Springs. We couldn't even talk to each other without yelling across the small table. Who sits a reservation in the middle of a 20 to 30 top? With more walking up and pulling chairs around. Having peope standing around

Outstanding salmon, good filet mignon - great, attentive service at the bar! Certain entrees are b1g1 between 5:00 and 5:30. Reservations are apparently required, though - we got the last two seats at the bar, while 3 tables sat empty the whole time we were there. It got very loud and crowded at the bar toward end of our meal.
