We believe teaching children about God's unconditional love for them is the most important thing we do each day. At Mt. Olive Preschool children learn about God's power, love, and promises through Bible stories and illustrations. By focusing on social as well as academic readiness, children leave Mt.
Olive ready for the school environment ahead of them. Learning letters and letter sounds, colors, shapes, basic math concepts, and exploring the natural world provide a foundation for further academic success. At Mt. Olive, children learn to make friends and play together. Taking turns, sharing, and using kind words are important social skills that children learn and practice in preschool.

Services
Feel free to look around, learn more about our class offerings and routines, and by all means contact us if you have questions! Our mission at Mt. Olive Lutheran Preschool is to teach children Jesus loves them and to nurture their social, emotional, and academic development in a loving, Christian environment.
The primary focus of this class is for children to learn to play well with others. Learning how to share toys and take turns are incorporated into daily activities. Teachers work to help children expand their vocabularies through the use of songs and stories and by naming objects and activities throughout the day.
Each class has their own specific routines that meet the needs of the students, the class, and the teacher's curriculum. These are some of the items covered in the Mt. Children attend chapel weekly, which includes singing, Bible verses, and Bible stories and lessons. Jesus time is held in the classroom at least twice per month to tell Bible stories, teach lessons, and visit with the children.
Lutheran School Accreditation is a process of self-evaluation followed by a visit of trained observers to help Lutheran schools improve the quality of their programs. National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) is a national, rigorous accrediting process designed to evaluate schools on the basis of their unique purposes as Lutheran schools.
