This place is the worst place to get your hair done. They do not clean any of the combs and when it came time to wash my hair they didn’t even have a proper chair to lean back into the sink! They mad me use a regular chair which did not support my neck which made it very uncomfortable. My first and last time coming here. They also upcharge if you don’t come washed and blow dried. I had to pay an extra $15 to have my hair washed and blow dried. The hair braiding lady is also very rough and braids extra tight. Do not come here.

I went to this salon to get senagelese twists. Within about 2 weeks of having the hair, 2 braids have fallen out, and multiple other braids have unraveled while they were still in my head because the ladies did not tie them at the ends. I ended up having to go somewhere else to have them rebraided and tied so they wouldn't unravel again, on top of the 250 that I paid at Esquisite to have them done. Not the best experience.

I am bi-racial so my hair texture and thickness is different than normal African hair. I started going here and getting my dreadlocks treated with Yama (the owner) for the last couple years. She is by far the BEST at treating dreadlocks I’ve ever coming across. I’ve been to five different “so-called” lock-tions in Columbus over my years of having dreads and I left them all because they did not know how to properly treat my dreads. I called in to make an appointment for my daughter, she was going to get her locs done. I got scheduled for the very next day, mind you I call before I get there because I don’t live close to the shop. She tells me to come ( the owner). I get there and no one is there. I call and they say they left and someone will be there within an hour. The daughter contacts me and says it will be a little longer than that due to her forgetting the key. It goes from that to me not even being scheduled for an appointment. I don’t understand how

Called to get prices on small box braids ( length 26 inches according to the pack of hair & im bringing my own packs of hair ) She said the braids started at 150.00 but goes up depending on length of hair.. again I told her the hair would be 26 inches according to the packs of hair and I wanted small box braids and asked again for a flat rate price.. she told me she couldn’t give me a price because everyone pays a different price.
