Crystal Leary - Dental Hygienist As a 1999 graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University bachelor degree dental hygiene program, Crystal immediately starting working at Dr. Jill Price's office. For the past 12 years, she has greatly enjoyed developing relationships with patients and their families, all while providing great oral health care.
Our Hawthorne dental office was the first building built as a stand-alone dental office in Portland, Oregon. It was built in English tutor style in 1934 under the direction of Patterson Dental. Prior to this stand-alone building on 5043 Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, all the dental offices were in multi-story buildings with the majority of dental offices in downtown Portland.

I like Dr Price very much. She is on top of small things before they get worse. I like her approach, and her as a person. My hygienist is Mindy and she is wonderful. I have had slip shod hygienists in the past and have some gum issues so it’s important to me to have someone who is thorough. Mindy is thorough, detail oriented and also a very nice person.

Dr. Price is fantastic. My prior dentist recommended 8 crowns. I did not understand the indications for this. I got a second opinion from Dr. Price, and her recommendation was for replacing a couple fillings. I appreciate her conservative approach to saving as much of the original teeth as possible. I think her technical skills are top-notch.

All offices should be like this one! Friendly, efficient and top notch. I actually get sleepy when they clean my teeth because I am so relaxed. Good people. When my daughter aged out of my insurance she stayed with Dr. Price and pays out of pocket because she trusts them and her new coverage does not let her select this office.

Dr Price is a fabulous dentist. She does exactly what she says she's going to do she's extremely professional show work with you and the same with her hygiene if they are really very nice and I don't hurt you and I have dozed off and taking naps during a root canal Dr Price's so gentle so if you're looking for a good dentist that you can be comfortable and no you're not going to get hurt and you're going to get good work this is where you should go.

Dr. Price's office combines a friendly, caring staff with a comfortable atmosphere. I have never been the most relaxed dental patient ever (I had a horrible phobia going back years), but they have kept me coming back regularly ever since I first walked in their door.
The staff does exceptional work and have been really kind as well. I cannot believe what a difference they've made in my smile.

I have been seeing Dr. Jill and a few times Dr. Rosenaugh for almost 11 years and I love the entire staff there. I have a horrible dentist phobia, and they understand that about me, and have been nothing but wonderful every single time. Very kind and gentle. And I drive in from Vancouver, WA to see them.....

After dealing with two dentists who told me they couldn't help me, I finally got a perfect filling on a chipped front tooth! Jill was such a professional and made my tooth look as good as new. The cost wasn't terrible either. She is excellent!
Luckily, Jill is also excellent at matching colors so the teeth look real (very important for cosmetic dentistry). She told me that as fillings aren't really recommended, she couldn't guarantee the fix would last. Still, two years later my tooth looks nearly as good as new.
