I've actually toured this place three times with prospective students and also for myself. Each time unimpressed by what looked like dirty and outdated facilities (and sometimes faculty.) I decided to reach out because this year because if I remembered correctly they were not only the faster program but the cheaper. As I was comparing programs for fasfa I wanted to know the time length and cost of the program to decide if it was even realistic for my schedule. Ms Stacy made it clear that without coming in person she was unable to give you information aka you were not forced to listen to her 2004

I went to Academy of Hair Design in 2015 to get my cosmetology license, after that I went to barber school on the crossover course that helped me get my Master Barber license. I officially finished my first year of working independent this year. AHD was the first step in my career and I am happy I did go there, I was able to study different aspects of the beauty industry to find out where I wanted to be. The school gave me my first pair of clippers and that’s when I knew I wanted to be a barber. I was able to take the knowledge of haircutting techniques and understanding the skin from AHD with

I’ve only been going to this school for three months and I’ve learned so much. I’ve always had an interest and a good understanding of hair but the school has helped me improve what I already knew and help me understand what I didn’t. All of the teachers are very nice and will help you with anything you are having trouble with. I’m really exited to graduate and start my life as a hairstylist.

I had a gel manicure done with Jennifer A. Jennifer was very pleasant and professional, and her work was spot on. My nails look perfect, and at less than half the price of what I would pay at a typical salon. I couldn't be happier, and will definitely be going back for more services. (A hard gel mani is 20.00, gel pedi is 20)

I am a student that attends this amazing place of studies and hands on learning. This is the beginning of my next chapter in life which it starts here with these creative students and teachers. Since being here I've grown as a Cosmo/Barber. My goal is to be a Master Barber which this place allows me to grow even more as a man but as a business man at that, I highly recommend this school in my eyes this is the one if this is what you want to make a career. This school is one of the best choices I made, I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for this school, I came in thinking I was gonna just gonna do hair and ended up being a makeup artist 💄 and hairstylist 💇🏻♀️.
