I came to the salon with my man to get his dreadlocks done and let me tell y'all, he had an appointment at 9:30 a.m.
It is now 10:15 a.m. and his stylist STILL isn't here to braid his dreads!!! So altogether it has been 45 minutes since we've been waiting in the lobby. 45 FREAKIN MINUTES!!!!
Don't get me wrong, they're skilled in what they do. They just need to work on their professionalism and punctuality as well as their communication.
If it weren't for these major issues, I would give this shop 5 stars and recommend them to everybody I know...

These girls do a good job! Been there twice for box braids. Fatima braided me up both times. Braids came out nice and neat and tight. They usually have two girls braiding too so it goes pretty fast. Affordable pricing. I got hip length large box braids and they charged me 190. Pics below. I’ll be back to this place for sure!

Had an amazing experience coming from New Mexico Getting my hair braided for my wedding. They were so helpful in deciding what I wanted done. Very friendly and polite service. My only wish was I lived in Las Vegas so I could go there always.

I booked two appointments for both of my girls two weeks out in advance. Both appointments were confirmed via text and email. Upon checking in the stylist were all busy didn’t say much, I actually had to acknowledge them first about having two appointments. One woman instructed we wait in the front. I’m very confused as to how this place has 5 stars. The waiting area had not been cleaned in what it looked like years or probably since they opened. There were bugs roaming the floors and loose hair balled up on the floor. The lady came out to tell me they weren’t able to honor both of my appointments

First of all they were combing my hair all rough, and it was that African guy (Matta). He was parting my hair so hard and tightening my braids up extra tight. He was so rude too, he was just like "sorry" with no emotion or anything and he was straight up rude, I hope that hair salon shuts down. That place was very unprofessional and he has my scalp hurting so much, it feels like its bleeding. Every time somebody touches my scalp or braids it hurts so much. Don't ever think about going to that establishment ever again he was so rude, and I felt like he did it on purpose, it was not clean there at

My appointment was set for 11a.m. I arrived five minutes early to check in. Benta acted as if I had never scheduled the appointment online as instructed. They quoted me $120 to do the work. It was a very painful as well as it was sloppily done. She told me after finishing my hair that it was $150. I asked her why did she tell me it was $120 before starting the process; and she became extremely rude and told me, "look it's $150!'" They all began yelling. This was the WORST experience ever. I will never return. This was a total rip off.

They’re nice but unprofessional with time management. I went for a quick hairstyle and they restarted over an hour in, mostly bc i have v thick hair but nonetheless i expect them to know how to do it. I didn’t have time for that. plus the finished product was messy and my braids are extremely frizzy 1 day in. I got these same exact feed ins somewhere else in May and they were amazing and smooth and lasted 2 weeks before even looking frizzy, not to mention cost me less elsewhere. my scalp and parts and extremely red and irritated and the jam they used is super tacky and my braids and head is

OK my OWN first impression of Ajda African Braiding. I stopped by Adja after visiting a different hair braiding salon just to ask a question about prices and show them a picture of what I would like, I was greeted by a young lady name Miriam. I am BIG on customer service, and I appreciate how she greeted me and made me feel comfortable, we were laughing as we talked and I was able to walk around Salon looking at different styles of braids the ladies were doing. I was told appointments are made online and giving the cost, after I left I made my appointment in my car, before driving off. I understand

I went there about 2 weeks ago to get my hair braided for the first time, and I have no complaints! They got right down to braiding as soon as I sat down and that was that! The braids came out nicely and weren't too tight on the head, but tight enough for them to stay in place. I'd definitely go back to them again when I have the chance!! 🙌
