Services
We are in Quinlan Crossing at the intersection of 620 and Quinlan Park Road, which is the main entrance to Steiner Ranch. From 620 heading south, we are a couple of miles south of 2222. Turn left at Quinlan Park Road, then quickly turn right into the shopping center with the large Randall's called Quinlan Crossing.

I scheduled a cut and color, but when I got there they had no record of a cut. Took the girl 3 hours just to do my colouring, and guess what, the gray still didn’t get covered. Whatever product they used on my hair didn’t color the gray! Spent over $200 for just color. They also spend the whole time trying to sell you products which is awkward. Won’t be returning.

As for the salon: what a fun bright space to do self maintenance! The feel is easy and pro, and their product line is well curated, and the steps taken to ensure cleanliness made me feel safe.
As for Ric Salvadalena, hair master extraordinaire: I will wait any time for an appointment with him, Ric has extreme talent and vision, he is the only person I allow to touch my fine, thick hair, and if I could clone him I would, if he wouldn't mind.

I came in with very high expectations because of my bad experiences with other hair salons. I trusted the reviews and boom..I was shocked. I had Brenda cut my hair. I couldn’t find any reviews of her on here or on Yelp so I was a bit nervous. And honestly, she’s underrated. I am so happy I came into this salon with all my trust on Brenda. My first visit to this salon, and to Jen Johnson. Five Plus stars for both. Lovely salon. Everyone was pleasant and so welcoming! No snooty people here! Beautiful, friendly, helpful young women at the front desk. I have fine, naturally curly hair, and am recovering from not one, but two bad haircuts. No kidding, it seemed like Jen was reading my mind. She understood exactly what was going on with my hair - and I am thrilled with my haircut and the styling. I have gotten my hair done twice at this salon with Makenna. With each time I have been completely blown away by her professionalism, expertise, creativity, time management, and overall refreshingly upbeat demeanor. She has so much skill and knowledge and is always happy to share about the process. I definitely have made a mess of my hair from previous home experiments and am baffled at how much she always seems up to what feels like an impossible challenge- and succeeds beyond my expectations! Makenna is a true miracle worker and hair aficionado.

I love this place! Staff is always welcoming and my color star, Kyrie Montez, gives me the best blonde I've ever had - and I've been blonde for over 2 decades!! Her highlights/lowlights and attention to detail really stand out to me bc i can wear my hair in so many different styles and no matter where I part it or pull it up, it looks amazing! It's so aesthetically pleasing :) and I thought my stylists before her were good but her work took my hair to a new level at a price I can afford.

I am so happy I gave Brian Charles Salon a 2nd chance. I loved Mandy, Tony and the entire staff making me feel welcome. But the best part was my color and cut. Mandy is a miracle worker and really helped fix my color problems. Tony gave me the best haircut I have had in years. They gave me great styling tips and ways I can take care of my hair. I will be back!

I was blessed with a day of pampering at Brian Charles Hair Studio and I was blown away! The atmosphere is a perfect setting for a salon. Sloane did my color, and Ric did my cut. A young man, apprenticing, did my make-up (so sorry I forgot your name 😕). They all nailed it! I couldn't be happier. Everyone, from beginning to end was so warm and inviting. The front desk is always nice and helpful.Another great thing is the decor is gorgeous and it always smells amazing there. Jennifer is an excellent stylist for cuts and I could recommend anyone to her. Just a lovely experience everytime and I always leave loving my hair.

Always love what they do to my hair, cut/style/blow out/treatments, I'm always so happy with my hair and pleased with the compliments I get. Everyone, from the front desk to the stylists to the owners, are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Also, love the tips, techniques, and product ( Kerastase and Kevin Murphy) application suggestions so you can recreate the look at home. Really enjoy coming here and seeing Ric. He's super nice, extremely talented and just an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. I always get compliments on my cut and color (thanks Chase) so although I don't get a hair cut as often as I'd like (or should) I always leave feeling great.
Also, how awesome is it to have such a great place in this neighborhood. Love that they're expanding too!

Brian Charles Hair Studios has cancelled two consecutive hair appointments (one cut, one color) long after it was set. This is an ongoing communication from February 5 to March 5, and it is supremely disappointing. Photos of our text exchanges are posted.
For some reason this salon's booking person cannot keep track of training stylists and they leave -- and those of us counting on updating our hair waiting for weeks are left in the lurch. After they break the agreement, there is no offer or incentive of replacement to maintain good relations. They explicitly do want THEIR time to be respected

After my last horrendous haircut (at a "premium salon") I was gun shy. But being new to Steiner I was pleasantly pleased when I highly rated salon popped up on my Yelp and appeared to be nearby. I went from pleasantly pleased to downright in love after my appointment.
Jen is a hair wizard. She did what every other stylist seems to struggle with: kept my long hair long, yet added complimentary definition and shape to the cut in order to give me volume

If you're looking for a stylist who really understands your relationship to your hair...the fears, fights, battles, moments of infatuation and diva-ness....then you need to see Jen Johnson. She is an intuitive master at bringing out the best you. (I love it when people use that phrase, so I'm using it). If you've been walking around as a mediocre you, then you definitely need to book with Jen. I have curly hair, which can either knock people's socks off OR look like an enormous brillo pad.
