I wished my hair would grow three times faster to come here three times more.
I have wavy hair and always go to Doug for a new inspiration, a new hair cut, twice I gave him a few words and he knew exactly where to take us.
Method Hair has great staff, fun decoration and the head massage is +++.
I thought the best hair dressers were in my hometown, Paris, but let me tell you this one is the best I have ever been to.
Perks: alcohol and great conversation.

Didn't go, but the customer service I experienced on the phone was lovely.

This was my first visit at Method Hair and I had a great experience with Jordan! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, was very informative and gave me a great scalp massage as well! Having your hair cut by someone new to you can be a nerve wracking experience but Jordan made me feel very comfortable and communicated with me the whole time. I’ll happily go back!

Schylar is the best! Helped me embrace my natural curls and helped me pick out the best product for my hair. 100/10 the whole place has great atmosphere and the receptionist was so sweet! Book that appointment!

I am the worst person when it comes to getting haircuts. Maybe I'm the only one, but I always end up leaving feeling like an ashamed shorn sheep. I visited Method for the first time today and had an amazing experience. Lacey was very caring, and listened to what I wanted from my cut. I'd probably pay $60 for just her head/scalp massage alone!

I have been seeing Sofia for many years. My parents live in Austin, so anytime I fly in for the holidays or any bigger trips I make an appointment to see her. I book my flight and I book my hair appointment right after. Sofia absolutely understands my hair vision every single time. She is so fun to talk to, but more importantly she does incredible work.

2 stars because the first stylist I had was fantastic and gave me the best style I have ever had. She left and I went to someone new, who was good but also soon left. But the last time I went (Jan 2021) the 3rd stylist not only forgot to cut my hair and I had to remind her as she walked me out, but there was a long chunk left when she hurried through it. Great experience with Crystal. She was thorough when explaining the process and what she was doing next. Made me feel as comfortable as possible during these COVID times. I wasn't decisive about what I wanted and she helped me figure out the best path forward. Her head massage was also killer.

I recently cut my bangs and on a one month trip to Austin I realized I desperately needed a bang trim. Sarah was kind enough to give me one. What a down to earth, kind, humble being! I've been to Method now 5 times. I really like the people, the vibe, etc. The first time I came in (several years back) I think I paid around $70 for a haircut which at the time I thought was a lot. But they spend time on you and I liked it so I was willing to pay more. It's gotten more expensive over time (now $125). The last two times I think I paid around $90 which is still REALLY expense to me??? But again, I like them and last time I was donating hair and had a lot cut off so I was okay with it.

This is a first for me, as I never write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn future customers. I came in for a partial balayage with Erin. The estimated cost I was given was $125-$175... I payed $305 (without tip which I regretfully gave), for hair above the shoulder. When I questioned this, I was told partial balayage was $235 and Erin added a gloss, without asking me, that cost an extra $70.

My hair looks great, don't get me wrong. But was it worth the price?? Absolutely not. I might have felt better if Erin was more customer-oriented. I spent 3 hours there and she spoke probably ten

Amanda is a magical hair sorceress. She listened to what I wanted, 100% understood my vision and gave me a cut that was more than I could have imagined. I make an impact in any environment. Hands absolutely down the best experience in Austin for getting your hair did.. .and I done did the research! Got my haircut by Crystal today- absolutely loved the experience. Crystal was super nice and helped me figure out what to do with my hair. Also- her head massage was SO good I needed a tension release from my head and that did the trick. They've implemented increased sanitation and contactless payment due to covid and provide anyone without a mask with one! I felt super safe going here to get my haircut and I will definitely come again!! Thanks Crystal!!

I've been going to Michelle at Method for nearly 3 years. I am picky, picky, picky about both my cut and my color but, she gets me, even when I fail to articulate what I want. And, she is honest with me if I ask for something that's dated or just wrong for me.
At first glance, the salon appears to be an ultra-cool, hipstery place but there is no attitude whatsoever - everyone is so nice. Also, the prices are reasonable - not cheap - but reasonable.

What a great experience I had today. If you read my reviews on hair salons and barbers, you might see that I'm pretty picky and that I always have trouble finding good ones in the US. As I was currently located in Austin and this salon was right across the street, I couldn't but try it out.

I made an appointment with Dough without knowing any history. Within the first minutes, I knew I had a professional here. Doug is very knowledgeable about his work and took his time and expertise to the next level.

First time to visit Method Hair but not my first time to see Doug Mesh. Love the atmosphere, I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was offered a beverage. It's clean, edgy, and you can tell everyone who works there loves what they do!

Sarah was amazing. She understood my hair type and was able to cut and treat my curls with ease. My curls look refreshed and my layers look great. She even gave me some great advice on how to care for my "misunderstood" hair type (as Sarah called it).

Everyone here is friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable while there. Thank you to everyone there. I look forward to returning next month.

If you have any doubts about booking an appointment at Method., just go for it because you will not be disappointed. I have had 2 different stylists on my CRAZY mane (photos attached) and they nail it every time. Not only has the balayage been on point every time, but each time I leave I have a newfound knowledge on a product/technique that helps my curls majorly! Yes, it is expensive but you really get what you pay for, quality product, friendly hairstylists and the rare (at least for me) feeling of pure happiness when leaving the salon. After having a few disappointing salon visits at coloring my hair over the past couple of years, I really did my research looking for a good place to get my black hair into a blue ombre. Yesterday I saw Sophia for the first time for a rather dramatic cut. I went from medium/long hair to a short pixie cut. Of course I had nerves, but she exudes confidence and that helped me relax. She did not rush and went slowly, taking it but by bit until we got to a length (or rather lack of length) I was thrilled with. Throughout my cut she also took the time to educate me on the products she was using on my hair and sent me home with generous samples.
