I've been trying to find a great hairstylist for years. Lots of bad barbers with lots of unsatisfied haircuts. Doug gave me the first haircut that I've liked in a while and even did my first hair coloring that I liked. I noticed there were some issues with the color after I went on a trip, and I came back and he color corrected it with no charge! Definitely never going to try and find another hairstylist. He is flexible with scheduling, and gives great service with an inviting atmosphere. Thanks Doug!

Douglas is absolutely amazing! He's friendly and he is very talented hair stylist. I dye hair blonde with extensions because it's so thin. Everything time I go in, I leave feeling amazing again! My hair is growing longer and is much healthier with his advise of what products to use.

I went to Douglas because of a girl I know who recommended him. She no longer uses him though. That should of been a red flag.
First time going to him was a complain fest. All he did was complain about his landlord, previous clients, the City, and everything else. I am one to give people chances though.
My hair turned out okay. He didnt match my roots perfectly but he did a OK job. He is nothing special. The negative energy you feel from him and the anxiety you will leave with just doesnt warrant an OK job.
He has the worst attitude of any hairdresser I have been to. After seeing him a few times

I used to live in 4S Ranch and traveled downtown for my appointments, more recently I moved to Murrieta and still commit to the drive to see Douglas. He has my highest recommendation.

I've been using Douglas Saboe for a few years now for my hair extensions and I am very happy with him for so many reasons! He is professional and very good at what he does, he is a master in hair extensions and teaches classes on it too. I have never lost one hair extension and the placement is always perfect, as is the quality. He is very fast and efficient, always on time, and a lot of fun to chat with too. I can't say enough good things about this salon!! I can only give him and his salon 5 stars, however, they give you 10 star service. I have been getting my haircuts with Douglas for the last 9 years and he as been amazing EVERY SINGLE TIME. Douglas is always educating himself on new styles and trends, he and his staff are very meticulous about their work, the salon is always clean, they are knowledgeable, they are respectful, and they actually care about their clients time and appearance. I absolutely love Douglas! Every time I go in he does an awesome job on my hair and is honest with me about what I can and can't do with the type of hair I have. My color always comes out wonderful and I always get compliments on my hair. I also love the salon. It's got a very cozy laid-back vibe which I really like. Douglas is also an absolute sweetheart and is now more of a friend then a hairstylist to me. Douglas is a genius - plus he's just a wonderful person in general. My mom and I have been coming to him for over 15 years and he always gives us exactly what we want (or better!). Douglas teaches hair seminars himself and is constantly going to classes so he can learn the latest techniques and continue growing his knowledge of all things hair. The best!

Douglas cuts my hair on a regular basis. He always does a great job and is very reasonably priced. I just get the basic mens cut, but he offers many other services such as coloring, waxing, extensions, and such. Douglas always seems to be up on the latest techniques and trends. He even teaches classes for many of the other stylists and barbers in town.

I got referred to Douglas by a friend. I am super duper picky with my hair cuts....I have had really bad experiences in the past with many hairstylist and never seen them after first hair cut. A groupon lured me here and having relocated back and forth from San Diego over the last 10 years, I never really found a good colorist/stylist. Until I found Micheal that is. I don't like to spend money on my hair and sometimes have only gone once a year to get it done.
Less than 3 months after my first visit I was scheduling a second as there was no denying the quality of the cut and color. Parking is easy here too. Too bad it's 15 miles from my house but the reasonable prices negate my extra gas cost.
