We are a Christian Martial Arts school teaching Traditional Karate and Aikido for men, women and children 5 years old and older. Our faith is the foundation for over 25 years of teaching and what sets us apart from popular franchise schools. Our discipline, meaning the attitude and character of our practitioners match our belief. Self-defense is misinterpreted as an excuse to fight. The character of the practitioner is defined by their understanding of our training. That's our practice.

Owner and Chief Instructor of Traditional Karate and Aikido in Las Vegas, NV. He has been a resident in Nevada for over 25 years and practitioner with the knowledge of Karate and Aikido, as well as a diverse knowledge and practice of other disciplines such as Tai Chi, Tang Soo Do, Jui Jitsu. Currently holding the rank of 7th degree Black Belt (Shichidan Menkyo Kaiden Sho), certified by his teacher Soke Domingo S.A. Miranda Sensei.
Christian Karate teaches us to put faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and then practice with a high standard of martial art technique. Faith is The Lord will help you to control your fear and act with confidence along with a humble attitude. Our training is for peace, not violence, however, you will be able to make a decisive decision to defend your self if needed.
There are many understandings of Aikido, "The Way of Harmony ", is a non resisting art, blending with your partner, redirection of force. There are all good words. Our Aikido Training is a Christian Martial Art founded by Sensei Domingo Miranda Soke. Our Aikido is a Christian spiritual understanding to put God in your heart first, be guided by the Holy Spirit and you will do well.
Specialized private classes. Any ages. We have many time slots through out the day to accommodate your private learning and understanding of Christian Martial Arts to your schedule. One on one classes that will take you at your own speed and capability with the purpose of improvement every class.

My daughter earned her black belt here. She feels she was better prepared for success at Harvard University because of the self discipline and control learned here. Now my other children are working towards their goals. We love the Christian Karate taught here and feel blessed that we found Shehan Smith. We highly recommend him.

The best dojo in town is an understatement to describe it. I haven't being able to find a dojo with true traditional discipline, teaching and knowledge of Shotokan for the past 20 years I have lived in America. Now I have my 5 and 8 year old sons practicing in this dojo and they love it! I am, after 25 years off, rejoining this amazing martial arts that teaches self control, discipline, responsibility and respect to one another, in and out of the dojo.
