I started my at the time 4 years old at CMA and that has been the best decision we ever made. CMA is not like most martial arts schools, the kids enjoy learning, interacting and playing. And I will not discredit the discipline, concentration and techniques they learn. CMA not only offered a one month free trial, they also offer parents night out. We recently had our daughters birthday party there and it was great for the kids to enjoy an array of activities and even allow parents, friends and family to join in. I can't want to put my youngest in as soon as she turns 4! Highly recommend.

Brought in the kids I babysit for a free introductory class with Sensei Price. He and his staff were very attentive to the kids' needs and very understanding when it took a while for my kids to get on the floor and get comfortable. Signed up for several weeks of summer camps and have nothing but a positive experience so far! Cant wait to get the kids into the after school programs after the summer!

We have been practicing martial arts as a family at CMAA since 2011. It was a referral from another local business that thought highly of Sensei Michael Price and Sensei Mary Roberts to send us their way. My 11 year old daughter has been with Charlotte Martial Arts for 3 years. She is also part of their fabulous after school program. Since joining CMA I have watched Nora's confidence and inner (& outer) strength grow. The whole team at CMS is caring, focused and wow do they ever know their stuff. My daughter is committed to reaching her black belt. We are about half way there!

We love Charlotte Martial Arts Academy and have used them for camps and classes for the past 4-5 years, and now have two kids in their amazing After School program. Cannot recommend this studio enough. The owners are creative, thoughtful, professional, fun, genuine, caring, and so so good with children. Their classes and programs focus on self-discipline, respect, personal responsibility and accountability, leadership, and building character. All four of our children love going to classes and camps and are so proud of what they're accomplishing at CMAA. Highly recommend them for classes, camps

Charlotte Martial Arts Academy fosters a fun, challenging, friendly, martial arts learning experience as well as a Family-Friendly environment. Starting January 2013 my son "tried" martial arts. Now he is excelling as well as encouraging Mom and Dad to pursue our own Karate path. To quote Sensei ... "A family that kicks together, sticks together". As a Boy Scout leader of since August of 2000, I embrace the lessons incorporated into the Karate Curriculum and their similarities to the Scout Oath and Law.

Have always loved this place! The team is just fantastic!
I have never been more impressed though. They are running a "working parents" camp, in line with their Summer Camps, and they are doing everything right. I can honestly say as a health care provider, they are doing a great job following all the rules. In addition my kids are super engaged and very tired at the end of each day! Thanks so much Sensei!!
