Although martial arts lessons have been around for quite some time, we are constantly updating our Taekwondo pedagogy in order to stay relevant to all our students.We value the old school teachings of respect, focus, confidence, self control and discipline along with all self-defense techniques that we have to offer in our belt curriculum.

Services
Our half day camps specializes in martial arts training with all activities scheduled inside our safe and clean studio space. As our camp instruction is progressive, each day is action packed with fun exercises, new learning drills and skill based games. No experience is necessary to attend any week of camp.
Action-packed games, activities, and exercises give kids a great workout from head to toe. Make no mistake about it: While our classes are tons of fun, we also cover the "serious" stuff too. For thousands of years, martial arts has been one of the best kept secrets for giving kids the skills they need for success in life.
As we understand that each individual's learning style is different, we constantly revisit the delivery of our taekwondo lessons to be the most impactful for all of our students. In an age of instant gratification, we teach patience through hard work in each student's commitment and dedication to achieve something great.

I have searched many schools in the area and I felt the core values and different programs King Tiger South Charlotte had was by far better then any school i visited. We focus on the true art of what Tae Kwon do is. Being over 40 years old i was looking for something that would challenge my fitness level, instill focus and above all have a good time. King Tiger has more than met my expectations and i don't think i can say enough positive things about the Masters and instructors here.

The amazing instructors & staff at King Tiger Park Road have become like family to us! They do a wonderful job of not only teaching their students proper Tae Kwon Do techniques, but also teach each student about respect, to take pride in themselves and others, & how to work as a team. They involve the parents in belt progression & work with us when our children are struggling both at home & school. We look forward to each class & have seen such an improvement in my children's behavior.

Our family has had a wonderful experience at King Tiger South Charlotte. Even with different personalities and learning styles, each of our children have grown in not only TKD skills, but also in confidence, focus, and respect. The instructors have a beautiful way of commanding respect for everyone and organizing classes such that your child will get as much instructor attention as possible. They are well trained in their field, great with kids, and work well with changing schedules. I highly recommend King Tiger of South Charlotte for your martial arts instruction.

I can not say enough positive about King Tiger South Charlotte along with Master Chin and her brother Inst. Hsin. Arriving from another school they could not have been more gracious and welcoming to the TKD family. Love the interaction they instill between the students- - young & old, take the time with "all" student as everyone learns at different levels and most importantly the safe, clean family atmosphere. They truly have the best interest of each student at heart. No matter what your martial arts or fitness goals are you will achieve them at King Tiger!!

This place is amazing! My son absolutely loves the instructors and the classes. We are greeted every single time we walk in the door and made to feel like part of the TKD family. Professional, caring, organized, warm, disciplined, knowledgeable and accessible - just a few words that describe the staff at this outstanding center. What I loved most was seeing my child's confidence, motivation, and maturity soar after beginning training at King Tiger. His favorite extracurricular activity, hands down. Mine too! :o)

We've been a part of the King Tiger family for more than six years and it's been nothing short of amazing. Master Chin and Instructor Hsin care deeply about their sport, but, more importantly, about the children they teach. Our kids have not only received top-notch tae kwon do instruction, but they've also learned about respect, self control, responsibility and the benefits of working hard. Students at King Tiger benefit from a great mix of exercise and fun. I can't say enough wonderful things about this school!

King Tiger is a great place for families to get in shape and learn Tae Kwon Do together. My son and I have been attending King Tiger for the past two years and we have both learned so much! The entire staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The workouts are challenging, yet obtainable. I HIGHLY recommend King Tiger of South Charlotte!

My son began Tae Kwon Do with Master Chin, Instructor Hsin and the other instructors when he turned 5, and I can say he has already developed more coordination and strength! I love how they all require a respectful attitude from the students. It is amazing how organized the classes are, and I love watching them interact with my son and challenge him.
