Our Program follows the principles of Child Development. Our goal is to give our children a creative and happy experience in a pleasant environment in which they will learn the disciplines of the classroom while enjoying hands-on and free-play activities during the school day. Daily structured activities vary between individual and group instruction.

The Kid's Korner Preschool is located at 247 West 24th Street, New York, N. Y. 10011. The Kid's Korner accommodates children ages two years to five years. The Kid's Korner is privately owned and operated by Yolanda Contrubis and Jennifer Contrubis-Denza. All operating expenses are paid out of tuition fees and any fund-raising activities.
The Kid's Korner Preschool has achieved a new, five-year term of NAEYC Accreditation until 2025! Our NAEYC Accreditation torch is a sign that your child will be safe, healthy, and learning each day. NAEYC has developed 10 standards for high-quality early childhood education. Having recently been reaccredited in the Winter of 2015, The Kid's Korner Preschool has met these standards in which we provide a safe and healthy environment for children.
Yolanda was active in her children's education early on and served as PTA President, Vice President and Treasurer. Yolanda is the Grandmother of four and for 20 years as Director instilled her motherly nature with staff and parents. Yolanda retired in 2013 which also marked the school's 20th anniversary.
We can't believe that you've just graduated our second child. After seven years of sharing the responsibility of raising our children, we feel like you are part of our family. We are so proud of our children and we want to thank you for all that you've done to help them become educated and nurtured.
The Kid's Korner Preschool summer camp at Chelsea's best-kept secret. We are an NAEYC-accredited preschool and nursery school. We are offering a hands on, exciting summer camp for 2020. At our summer camp, children will enjoy arts and crafts, water fun, Spanish by Ms. Lou, cooking, music with Mr. James and Kindergym!
