After submitting multiple maintenance requests over the course of months our appliances are still not fixed. Our roof is still leaking and maintenance still hasn't come out to replace our kitchen light(did I mention it's been months since we've asked for that to be replaced). Staff is less than worthless. Also, there's no parking.

Pros:
-Almost brand new apartments
-Close to several shopping centers
-Close to the freeway
-Close to a park with amazing walking trails and a small lake/pond
-Quiet part of town
-Small pool & jacuzzi and a fitness center are available
Cons:
-Parking situation is rough if you have more than 1 car. You are only assigned 1 spot (so if it’s just you living alone with one car it’s not a problem) therefore you have to find parking elsewhere. Guest parking is extremely limited.
-We have found several spiders that are unpleasantly large. (google ‘giant house spider’) probably because

This place is an absolute joke! Moved in to a filthy apt, obviously not ready for move in. They didn’t even repaint the front door/problem areas or install the stove coils; yet the have the audacity to charge me $400+ for cleaning? I noticed a stench in the master bath and reported it maintenance when we moved in, nothing was done. I had to buy those drain fresheners, which work great! Whoever rents H153 - good luck with that! About a month in, I had a leak going on, nothing was ever done about that either. All maintenance said was “I told the lady above to stop taking a bath,” He never came

I love these apartments! High ceilings if you can get a 3rd floor unit and all up to date appliances. No place is perfect and I’ve lived all over the city of Portland and parking is a nightmare everywhere so yes the parking is tricky, but it isn’t the end of the world. The staff is always great and again yes mistakes have been made but as long as you bring things up to their attention if you notice one, they are quick to fix it for you. Already signed a second lease and will probably plan on staying for another!

I have nothing but good things to say about Northbrook. My husband and I moved in at the beginning of COVID, and despite a worldwide pandemic and a massive overhaul in management, Thomas and his team have made every effort to make sure our needs, as well as other residents', are met. It is clear how much they care about the property and want the community to thrive! Unfortunately, not all of our neighbors feel the need to keep the environment clean, but Thomas and staff are always on it as best they can, and send out friendly reminders of what is and isn't allowed on premises. I love my new apartment. It is so difficult to find new apartments in this wonderful area right next to the Columbia River Gorge. The buildings are very attractive and I have a nice two bedroom with two full baths. The other tenants who live here seem to be responsible young couples, either with a dog or with a small child. All the cars in the lots are nice, so I know everybody is working hard at some job or other. Mainly, Thomas, McKenna, and Tiana who make up the administrative staff are so over-the-top helpful and nice! These apartments are just 20 minutes from the gorge and yet close enough

The parking situation at almost every apartment will have it's flaws and it's understandable, but deciding to add retail spots to a complex with no street parking available was the worst decision I've seen. Luckily we were able to get a second spot, but if you have more than one car as a family I would strongly recommend looking somewhere else over having to pay rent while retail shoppers take your spots. Other than that I haven't had any problems with the staff and the apartments units have been fine.
