By now, everyone has heard about the advantages of scanning dental impressions digitally. Digital "impressions" are more comfortable for patients, faster for the dental team, and are able to produce highly accurate images that contribute to restorations that seat easily and quickly. I personally have used a digital scanner for six years, and have been able to see how each successive generation of the technology has improved on the last.
Dental x-rays have been "good enough" in the past, but with today's modern dentistry technology a more accurate diagnosis is required. Enter the digital x-ray. Because of fluoridated water, tooth enamel has become much harder and decay-resistant. This is a good thing for your overall oral health. However, it also makes decay much harder to detect.
Acceptance of treatment plans is a primary goal in a dental practice. Many offices are now using digital X-rays. The enlarged and enhanced radiographic images promote education and make it easier for patients to gain confidence in proposed treatment. Most patients appreciate digital X-rays, but these alone don't always tell the whole story.

The staff is friendly and Dr. Franco is wonderful. I have seen her a couple times now and she remembers very small details about my life clearly cares about my wellbeing as whole. When my mouth guard started giving me headaches a year after it was made she was very concerned and adjusted it free of charge. I recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Franco literally changed my life by prescribing and fitting a dental guard that keeps me from grinding my teeth at night. No longer do I wake up at 2 am with an excruciating headache!
I’ve also had a couple of root canals to salvage teeth cracked from night grinding. Not fun, but Dr. Franco made the procedures more bearable than I expected.
In sum, I highly recommend Dr. Franco. She’s the best!

Dr. Franco is a supremely skilled professional. After years of expensive repairs and crowns, I saw Dr. Franco for the first time and she immediately diagnosed the underlying issue which was missed by my previous dentists. She is friendly and personable, and takes the time to explain what is happening and give options. The office is pleasant and welcoming, and the hygienists always do a good job. Highest possible recommendation.

Great experience! I always dread going to the dentist especially after my last experience where I experienced a lot of pain when I had gotten a filling and always had problems with it. Everyone explained everything thoroughly and I felt completely comfortable! I would definitely recommend and will be coming back. 🙃

Love Dr. Franco! We looked for a dental practice for awhile after moving here from out of state. So glad we found Dr. Franco and this practice. Truly appreciate Dr. Franco's warm nurturing spirit as well as excellence in care. In our family's experience Dr. Franco advocates for preventative and lower intervention care rather than aggressive and highest intervention. Also appreciate that Dr. Franco teaches at the U of M Dental School. Our hygienist Melanie is wonderful. Very professional, dedicated, and caring staff.

Every time I go to Franco & Associates Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, I walk out feeling extremely well taken care of. As soon as I step up to the front desk to check in I'm treated in a friendly and respectful manner . My last visit started with me being especially nervous and worried about the outcome of an oral surgery that required among other things, bone grafting and stitches. Dr. Gloria Lopez Franco is so gentle and caring, and explains as she goes. Her assistants are awesome in the same way! And once again, my procedure went very well and I walked out a happy camper thinking I'm so glad
