Shamblott Family Dentistry - St. Paul is now open for appointments at our new office in the Blair Arcade Building at 400 Selby Avenue, Suite A in St. Paul. Dr. Scott Shamblott and the entire team at Shamblott Family Dentistry are proud to announce the addition of a second location, In the Blair Arcade Building, in the shadow of the St. Paul Cathedral, on Selby Avenue, in part of the space that was previously Fabulous Fern's restaurant.
The office will expand its hours to meet patient needs, adding time and staff to deliver the best possible patient care. Walk-in and emergency patients, as well as patients with dental anxiety and fear-of-the-dentist, are welcome and encouraged to visit us for help and treatment. The Hopkins office will continue to offer early-morning, evening and Saturday hours to serve the needs of its existing and new patients.

It is important to know How to tell and what to do if you have a Dental Emergency. Injuries to the mouth may include broken teeth, teeth that are knocked out (avulsed), forced out of position and loosened (extruded) or fractured. In addition, lips, gums or cheeks can be cut. Oral injuries are often painful and should be treated as soon as possible.

I would definitely recommend Shamblott dentistry. Great staff and dentist (Dr Shamblott) who put the patient at ease and are fun to boot. Seriously this is the first dentist where I wasn't even able to feel the numbing injection. A dentist with a true appreciation for customer care and service quality!!! Definitely recommend Shamblott dentistry.

I have struggled with the confidence going to the dentist over the years but took the plunge to really get my dental health above par! The Shamblott dental team are really incredible - I have gotten multiple procedures done at the Saint Paul location and I have had only positive things to say every time - I have personally told multiple friends to go here. It's hard to say you had a positive experience at a Dentist - but I have and if you are looking for an excellent place to go! Go here! :)

These people didn't seal my gum around a dubiously necessary crown and cracked another tooth with a large filling. They pulled a tooth with a large filling in it because I didn't want to get a root canal even though there was no pain when the filling was out for several months due to covid plus the charged me like 4000$

Friendly staff and relatively easy to get an appointment! All workers are following COVID-19 precautions and seem to be doing the best possible job they can to minimize risk to their staff and patients. It's an easy recommendation from me! Also, I appreciate that they validate parking. This part of St. Paul is tough for parking sometimes.

I've had a really bad experience with dentists all my life, and at 33 I finally found a whole dang environment that I'm comfortable in. The care that the whole team offers is fantastic, and they're all very personable while remaining professional and detail-oriented. I didn't at all feel like the care I was given and the work being done was to garner any sort of profit, but to do what's best for me and my dental health. Dr. Shamblott is the only dentist I want to see going forward. If you have a hefty dental phobia, be it with needles, the drills, the atmosphere, staff, any of it, this place is

I’ve always hated going to the dentist, but Shamblott makes it so much better. The folks at the front desk are incredibly kind and helpful, even when I ask a billion questions. The banter between hygienist and dentist is amusing and keeps me entertained while getting nasty cavities filled. Highly recommend!

From the receptionist, to the hygienist to the dentist- all around really great service! Very friendly, warm and welcoming. My fiance and I moved from the suburbs to the city and needed to find new dentistry closer to home and I got really lucky to find a great place where I feel welcomed with such above and beyond service.

My mother is a dentist and has always taken care of my teeth growing up. However, I recently moved to this area and needed my 6 month cleaning. I chose Shamblott because of its mostly positive reviews and close proximity. Setting up the appointment was easy and the staff were all friendly. The cleaning itself was good, but they told me I had two cavities that I would need to get fillings for. I was surprised because I have never had cavities before and nothing had changed in my home cleaning or diet. I was skeptical and had my mom review the x-rays they took. She said that the teeth should be watched

The St Paul office is amazing. I have anxiety over going to the dentist but not on my visit with Dr Shamblott. He and his staff made me feel so comfortable. They are so friendly and really got to know me. I highly recommend this dental provider. Thank you for making me feel better but most of all for making me feel safe and comfortable.
