Clear Lakes Dental in Robbinsdale sent me to this location after one of my fillings fell out and they said I needed a root canal. At my appointment at this location the dentist said I don’t need a root canal because I wasn’t having any pain and a new filling should be fine. I had to wait to get approval from my insurance for them to do the filling even though the filling that fell out was done a year ago. I told the dentist and the assistant that my bottom teeth have trouble getting numb. She poked me a few times even in the tooth directly but it still didn’t really work. Thank goodness she

I had two small cavities filled without a problem. I would suggest telling the patient what is going to happen and if you are using pain killer and why or why not? He just started drilling and I thought here comes the pain but they must have been small ones.
Second issue was I have to schedule a new appointment with a dentist to check what tooth was sensitive to cold. I think a 10 second shot of cold water could confirm if it was the crown or the natural tooth and I would know if I want to wait till 2022.

Very kind patient staff and great knowledgeable Dentist Chris. Very efficient without much wait time in lobby. I received a filling and the worst part is the needle to numb the targeted area. Other than 3 minutes of pain with injection site sore from needle it's a real comfortable experience. Will keep this as my primary dentist from now on.

I’ve been dental phonic my whole life. I have a tiny mouth & have been abused by 3 male dentists. Dr.Xioung and her staff were incredible! For the first time in my life , someone listened & the hygienist was SO gentle with me . I had a pain-free teeth cleaning, X-rays & fluoride treatment done. I haven’t been to a dentist in 15 years prior to today. I called my husband & said this is the place you ought to go to ! The only issue I had was the very expensive crowns she recommended. Also, she said I can’t get mouth guard to prevent me grinding teeth/biting tongue/cheeks until AFTER I get crowns
