It was the early 1980s, and Mike Lorentz was driving through Lewisville on his way to Dallas for a job when he spotted the famous water tower with the Lewisville High School Fighting Farmers logo emblazoned on it for all passersby to see. Rather than keep going to Dallas to take a job he already had, Mike stopped and talked to some people in Old Town.

It is just my experience, I took my 2009, V6, Limited edition Highlander to this shop for a front brake job, State inspection, A/C check, alignment and I asked them to check the clicking noise in the steering wheel,

Lorentz was extremely courteous helpful. When my vehicle required more work then I had anticipated they offered me a ride home.
When I picked my car up the price was lower than the estimate had been.
They replaced spark, wires and several other maintenance items and did a super job. The car has not run so smoothly since it was brand new.

I chose Lorentz Auto due to the rave reviews of past & current customers and they did not disappoint! We moved to Lewisville from Missouri 2 years ago and since then have been in search of our "automotive home." We have usually taken our vehicles to chain locations and while those are convenient because they are everywhere, we never felt we got the down home service and adequate prices of repairs. I took one of our vehicles to Lorentz over a week ago for brake replacement and state inspection and was blown away. Shane was wonderful to talk with. He educated me of routine maintenance

After getting a ridiculously high quote from another service center to fix my tailpipe on my truck, I was told to go see Joe at Lorentz Auto. I must say I am glad I listened as Joe and the rest of his staff are awesome! They are very honest and their prices are very fair. They did it again! Joey and his team truly understand how to find the problem, fix the problem permanently, and provide quality customer service (rare in this industry). My 2006 Chrysler 300 C runs and rides like new! "Betsy" loves her results! She had major work done at reasonable prices and I could not be happier. I lived in Lewisville on and off for 25 years and always sent my vehicles to these gentlemen. They are a shop that you can feel comfortable sending folks who know nothing about cars to be treated with respect and honesty. My wife, daughter, friends and other family have all gone there on my recommendation over the years, and had nothing but positive things to say afterwards. Takes a long time to find a shop with this level of integrity on your own. Why not start out there in the first place? Good luck folks!
