Nuploy (Ploy) & Roy Stone were married in a small village (Ploy's home town, Bon Non Hom) just about 40 miles North of Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand and 25 miles West of the Laos border, in 2002. Roy was working for GE at Thai Air. Mill was 6 and Tom was only a few months old. In less than a year after arrival in the US, Ploy started dreaming of opening a Thai restaurant in Historic District of Lebanon, OH.
2 spring rolls, 2 crab Rangoon, 2 pot stickers, 2 shrimp in a blanket, 1 chicken egg roll. Jumbo shrimp stuffed with ground chicken in a spring roll wrap and deep fried with Sweet & Sour Sauce. Chicken, onion, scallion marinate wrapped in wonton sheet and served with ginger brown sauce. Skewered chicken tender, marinated with turmeric, & coconut milk then grilled to perfection comes with peanut and cucumber sauces.

Pad Ka Pao is Holy Basil Stir-Fry. I ordered and it was not what I got. I got some strange variant. It had sliced pork instead of ground pork which I was expecting and it smelled like old bamboo shoots. Don't know what you are doing, but the quality of food has gone downhill. Only thing from my order tonight that was remotely ok was the pineapple fried rice. But even that had canned pineapple though. I am Thai/Lao and know the authentic food. I am disappointed. Edit. Got food poisoning from this place. Paid almost $100 worth of food. Very disappointed.
*I have eaten there many times. Dine in and

It was our first time to this restaurant. Went with friends who highly recommended it. Loved everything we ordered, but especially the khao soi with vegetables - it had an amazing depth of flavor! All the staff were very pleasant and friendly and the ambience was nice.

Easily my favorite place to dine in Lebanon. Always expect fantastic service whether dining in or ordering carry out from Mae Ploy's, and don't be surprised if Mae Ploy stops by herself to see how you are enjoying your meal. While the prices might appear a little high for your standard Asian fare, the quality is top notch and the portions are enormous -- it's rare that I don't get a second meal out of each order.

We have eaten here two times 2 years apart before going on the North Pole Express. Both visits were great experiences. This time we ordered Pad Thai, 2 sushi rolls and 2 kids meal chicken Pad Thai. The food came fast, everything looked and tasted really good, and the portions were generous. The staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive and the restaurant was both clean and decorated for the holidays. Highly recommend!

I still get mae ploy from time to time and I'm afraid it's becoming increasingly less and less as great as it was when it first opened. We can blame it on the pandemic and harder to find employees like everywhere else I'm sure, I just wish someone would take the step up to be that great restaurant again.

I haven't found a single restaurant in the Lebanon/surrounding area that has been worth going back to a second time.

So while I'm sitting here looking at the few bites I took from my overcooked chicken I could barely cut through with a fork, my cold rice, and my mini

This is by far the best Thai food I've ever tasted. There are many great Thai restaurants around Cincinnati but never found a restaurant specializing in Thai in or near the Lebanon area. I'm so thrilled Mae Ploy is part of the neighborhood!

This is my families absolute favorite place to eat! We come here for all the big occasions! The food is absolutely amazing and the sushi is a work of art. There hasn't been a single thing on the menu we haven't liked.

Also the owner is so friendly! She always stops by to talk to you and see how you're doing. Once we came for my sisters graduation and she brought us out a free dessert.

I HIGHLY recommend this place! If you don't know what to get our favorites are the drunken man noodles, basil friend rice, penang curry, and the yakuza roll! But I guarantee everything you

This is one of my favorite places to get Thai food. The owner always talks to her customers because she cares about her food and if you enjoy it too.
My usual is the Pad Thai but this time I got the drunken noodles with a spice level 4 which I think I liked more. However, we have not gotten a bad meal here.
They do close around 2.30 after the lunch rush but then reopens later for the dinner crowd.

We went on a Saturday night in the early evening and the place was literally packed to capacity... Lucky we got the last table. On that note, the quality of the food wasn't compromised one bit and was absolutely fabulous! The duck was melt in your mouth delicious and the egg rolls amazing! There were only two servers as we were informed of short staffing (much like all restaurants these days) but the service was great considering. The owner paid attention to all her guests making rounds to the tables checking on everyone which was appreciated. The setting is intimate and unique (there is a bank

Wow!! I've had a lot of Thai in my days and this was the best ever. I saw someone's pad Thai when I walked in and almost chose that. Instead, I tried the garlic vegetables with tofu. It was perfect!!!
Chayapha was a wonderful server!!

The Roy roll sushi, fried dumplings, Thai-garita and soup is all very very full of flavor! The service is amazing, they accommodated a large crowd very well. The waitress and host were very polite and helpful all throughout the evening and helped everyone in our party with anything we asked of them. Highly recommend! Want to go back already to try more from the menu.

This is our second visit. The first time was about 2 years ago. It was a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was empty. The staff appeared preoccupied on their cell phones and the service was as you can imagine, marginal. Of course, this would have been ok , if the food had been better. We were underwhelmed. So after 2 years and hearing friends speak well of the place we visited again this past Friday evening. Hopeful. It was a gorgeous evening and we sat outdoors . The Restaurent was quite busy and there was also brisk take out traffic. So we were excited and in anticipation of

Great Thai food! A bit far from the city, so I was pleasantly surprised that there is a good Thai place in Lebanon. Pretty authentic as well and the portion is good. Would go back again if I'm in the area.

We got the fish cakes and the papaya salad as appetizers.
Fish cakes: really great flavors and spices; fish cakes were bouncy, loved the texture. They give you a pretty good portion for the price.
Papaya salad: fresh papaya salad with the right seasoning. I am not a lover of the Laos style papaya salad, so I was glad to find that they do the authentic Thai style. Really fresh ingredients

First time eating here and we're VERY pleasantly surprised! EXCELLENT food and service, great atmosphere right in the heart of downtown Lebanon. Sidewalk seating was available and great ice cream options across the street for dessert! Highly recommend and will definitely be dining there again!

Gorgeous day. Say outside by lovely flowers.. hummingbird kept visiting the flowers
We shared a sushi roll that was huge. Then shared the cashew fried rice and added shrimp. It was all lovely and delicious. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Another great dining experience which is more exceptional in these covid times.

Loved the food here! I used to stay in south east Asia earlier and got addicted to Thai food there. I sorely missed good Thai food here, until I found this restaurant! I ordered green curry and our group also ordered pad Thai. Portion size was generous, we both packed half of our portion to take home. It's authentic Thai food, much better than banana leaf or other pricey Thai restaurants in Cincinnati. Definitely recommend!

This is my favorite restaurant in Lebanon and maybe anywhere. The food speaks for itself. It is always on point. The panang curry is something dreams are made of. Waitstaff always professional. Chef comes to check on everyone. Ambiance is right. And the price for the dining experience and portion sizes you get is a great value. Always a win for date night at this place.

The food is good/ok. The service is ok/not bad. They have clear plastics to divide tables for inside sitting. Outside sitting is also available.
I didn't have a bad experience, but the lack of the extra notch is why the star shortage.
Never got a refill for my ice tea. The table was wet (the plastic of the menu would stick to the table), I had to wait for my server an unusual long time. To his credit, he did apologize. However, I feel someone like the host, who didn't appear to be doing anything other than standing at her post - could have gotten my drink order to help out the busy

This was quite a pleasant surprise while looking for a new Thai Restaurant south of town.

We located Mae's Ploy and thought we would give it a try. Situated on old Historic Lebanon 3 doors downs from the Golden Lamb.

Mae Ploy tool residence is in an old bank and turned this into a delicious and unique Thai restaurant in the heart of historic Lebanon.

When we first entered it we saw that it had a full bar (where the bank tellers used to be), two private dining rooms, and fairly large middle dining area. The ambiance was eclectic considering it was a refurbished bank turned Thai Restaurant
