And it's so easy. Just sign them in at the front office, sign the guest waiver, pay the low guest fee and your guests are our guests for the entire day. And don't forget, if your guests are interested in joining, you can earn a free month's dues when you take advantage of our Refer-A-Friend program.
Bay-O-Vista is currently seeking full, part-time and seasonal employees to fill a variety of positions. Some focus on your ability to work with and lead kids while others are for the more mechanically inclined. But all require interaction with our members on a daily basis. Interested? Seemingly coming out of nowhere, PICKLEBALL is quickly becoming the most popular intergenerational sport in America. And the real beauty of it is that you can start enjoying the game almost immediately even if you've never considered yourself athletic in the past. We have added nets and official court lines in our basketball area bringing the total number of official PICKLEBALL courts to four.
To that end, we at Bay-O-Vista are committed to an open approach to sharing the health and mental benefits of yoga practice. When we heighten our sense of awareness, we can be more in tune with our bodies, begin to release stress and enjoy all the benefits of yoga. This place has always been good to me ever since I was a little kid (1 year old) and now, 20 years later I'm proud to say that it's still my preferred private gym/swim and tennis club. I see lots of reviews are poor on here and I understand, and would like any new comers to know that they need not fear those specific reviews because this place does have a lot of policies, which in turn makes it better than most other swim/tennis/gym facilities. I continue to hope to stay a member for as long as I live in the area, and am grateful for all the staff that I've talked to in the past

Local shmocal. Absolutely thoughtless and unneighbourly staff and owners. They run loud machines every weekend and when I call to tell them to stop I get a pithy response from their clearly incompetent staff that the owner will call me back. Many months of noisy health hazards and calls later, I have silence from the owner. Horrible club filled with outdated equipment owned by a terrible person who charges way too much and underdelivers. Stay away. Take your business elsewhere - 24 Hr Fitness is affordable, well equipped, and managed well.

I feel like the victim of an unscrupulous flim flam scam by the management. I paid dues to BOV during a year of the pandemic, when most services were not available. I couldn't afford it anymore and gave them written and telephonic notice of terminating membership. They pressured me into another month's fees, plus late fees, claiming the 30 days notice took me into an additional month's dues. It's a scam and they should be ashamed of themselves after all the dues I paid while it was not available for use. If they take me to court, I'll cross file to recover the dues paid

Was a member until covid happened and they shut down and continued collecting membership dues while not providing any services. They said they needed to keep employees. Well if you check the website Propublica which tracks PPP money you will see Bay O Vista got 2 forgivable loans for a total of $286,262.00. So much lying coming out of the management. They kept our due money to do capital improvements under the guise of paying their employees.
I asked them to return 3 months dues and the $150 I paid for discounted tickets to bring in the grandkids in as guest that were unable to be used the whole

Do not join this club. We were terminated for signing a petition to get our money back for services not provided as per the contract as we were still being charged with the club not being open during this ongoing Covid crisis. We never sent notification that we wanted our contract terminated. Zero stars.

This place is a scam and the owner is out to take your money by any means necessary. Indeed you have been warned. It's such a shame that they're the only game in town.

Pretty clever actually. You state in the contract that cancellation has to be in writing... and then stop answering the phone and emails for two months. This blocks members from being able to contact you to ask how to cancel. Then when they cancel automatic payments you can claim non-payment and charge late fees. Only problem is that it makes you about as popular as Comcast. I would not wish customer service like this on anyone.

We joined Bay-O-Vista about a year ago. We joined not so much because it was a great club, but more because it was nearby and we had friends who were members. It became quickly clear that the place was not operating with a high standard of customer service. For example, at some point the steam room (the main feature I used) went out of service. It was down for at least a couple months. During the downtime management did not communicate at all what was happening nor when the steam room was expected to be operational. I was a long-time member, not because it was a great club, but because of the convenience for the whole family ... it was pretty much the only game in town. For the price point, you would expect more, but it worked because our daughter loves to swim, which allowed us to overlook a lot of the facility's shortcomings. However, the club's lack of communication became magnified in this current climate and impossible to overlook. That said, I've terminated my family's membership after 14 years.

We are members for years in this facility, they are closed understandably due to corona virus, but they did not stop charging us money. My wife and I tried to contact them for months via phone, email but no response. Very disappointed, very unethical. Stay away from this business. I cannot reach anyone cancel my membership. I contacted my bank to stop payments.

Ive been a member for years..... and then the Covid 19 crisis happened. We have an automatic payment on our credit card and have been trying to contact them for two months and they refuse to respond. They are taking our money and I want to cancel. This place is totally unethical and I suggest you dont get involved with this place. Its sad to know that Bay-O-Vista is ripping off the community while everyone is suffering.

I'm a pretty laid back guy but this place has easily the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The fact that they claim to be "community and family oriented" is a marketing sham.The owners are greedy and the rules are ridiculous. Considering the outrageous initiation fee and monthly fees north of $225 there are way better options out there.
