I miss the gym-since Covid I haven’t been back there but I really did enjoy my membership until the prices started to increase due to covid- I couldn’t really afford to pay a separate fee for swimming besides my membership fee-people are friendly lots of great classes included with membership. They keep it as clean as possible.

I LOOOOOOOOOVE Harbor Bay Club!
I love scheduling for a lane at the pool because it insures I will always have a lane when I arrive.
I love that it's a salt water pool.
I love the clean locker room, sauna, jacuzzi!
I love the weight rooms and outdoor option with so much space between machines.
And so many tennis courts!
Plus there's an outdoor play area for the littles!
And the customer service people are so nice!

I am new to the area and I am looking for somewhere to work out. I gave it a one star because I am unable to get a response from anyone to be able to get in there. I went online and submitted a request for membership info. No response. I found a general email account and sent a request for membership info. No response. I walked in on a Saturday and asked about membership info. They don't have a membership representative on the weekends so they gave me a business card. I emailed the person on the business card. No response. I think I'll go find somewhere else to spend my money

I joined HBC in October 2019, as a place to rejuvenate and recover from a lingering illness, and begin to exercise again. I fell in love with the ladies' indoor hot tub and spa area, which is designated as a Quiet Zone (most people try to abide by this rule!). After enjoying the wet sauna, I have napped several times in the hot tub area, and also love the open-air section of the ladies' spa.
The outdoor swimming pool is great, right next to the estuary/bay. I enjoy swimming and also taking in the views of Mount Tam and San Francisco on clear days. I have also gotten hooked on a few

I'm astonished this spa is in business , I called for 2 pedicures, they cant accommodate 2 pedicures. So I made them one after the other. THEN I get an email demanding payment with a credit card to have on file. I siad no, I would give them a credit card the next day when I got there or over the phone. Keep in mind, while on the phone, no one asked for a credit card. I tried to call them back, no answer, then i get an email CANCELLING the pedicures. So within 5 min I made an appt and they cancelled it because they wouldn't answer the phone, take a number or wait 24 hrs for me to come

This review is specifically for Hein Tu's tennis summer camp, as well as for HB Club's General Manager, Louise Howard.
I've waited 2.5 years to publish this review because I didn't want to disparage the after school program or the swim program by association. My daughters and I had great experiences with those two programs.
But after 2.5 years, I remain as disappointed and hurt as ever about the experience I had with Hein Tu and Louise Howard. It is easily the worst customer service experience I've ever had.
I'm proud of how I handled my end of the communication

I joined mainly for the pool - and proximity to new job on South Alameda island. The club is spacious and has a ton of equipment. The layout is a bit odd since the old racquet ball courts are now equipment rooms.
The pool is usually not too crowded and I haven't had to circle swim in the last 3 months.
However, in the warmer weather, when there are more kids, the lifeguards will take out lane lines to give the kids more of the pool.
I'm ok with this but there should be a limit -- kids get off school a lot earlier than most adults get off work. Kids should not always have top

Unreliable child care
I have a busy schedule and need to fit workouts in when I can. Sometimes that's when I have my little one with me.
The hours for the child center are clearly posted on the website. However I cannot tell you how many times I have showed up well within the window and it was closed early. I guess they just feel like closing early some days? I have also been turned away by untrained staff who told me they "couldn't take any more toddlers", and that I needed to call ahead to reserve space, which I was later told wasn't true.
You would think that

I joined mainly for the pool. It has been a pretty disappointing experience. The club is old and dated. The pool locker room is crowded when there are two people in it, if there are 3-4 it is unusable. The place needs a serious refreshing.
Being able to swim is often difficult if you work during the weekdays because it seems like mornings or evenings it is always booked for masters swim, lessons or some swim team or another. I have been booted out on a number of occasions.
I too have tried to talk to Maureen about what the schedule is for the pool but she is never around and does not return

I love this place! It is beautiful and relaxing. My kid gets to go with me for free to swim. There are lots of amenities that I appreciate. The location is beautiful and the other members are very nice. The membership person was very nice and alerted me to the membership discount that I was eligible for. It is not cheap but it's work it for my health.
I wanted to add that I had some spa services with Carrie. It was too notch. I had a "chemical peel" after spending thousands in facials and feeing like I really only got a face wash I decided to go for a peel. Well Carrie was fab. She

Today I used the spa at Harbor Bay Club. I am a non member but you can still use the spa if you are a non member of the club. Carrie did my Spray tan and wax. She did a good job. My tan wasn't orangey. It was a perfect shade of tan. My wax went well too. In the past I have gotten facials by Carrie. She cleaned up my skin very nicely. When I was done the receptionist told membership how much I spent which was over $100. Ryan the membership representative gave me a free day to use the club since I spent a lot of money in one day. The pass expires next month. So I have some time before it expires

Disappointed with my family membership in the club. This place seems to be geared towards elder members and kids under 14 are not welcome/allowed in most of their programs or classes no matter how well behaved the kids are. When we were sold the membership the rep reassured us that our kids could participate in the classes. Anyway they refunded our membership in full. So I would not recommend this club for families with kids. So if you are looking to hang out with lots of older ladies who dislike kids this is the club for you.

Harbor Bay Club is a lovely quiet oasis on Bay Farm, facing the water. This review is really for a massage therapist who works there, Lori Melero.
I have worked with Lori Melero for several years, so when she relocated her practice there- I followed her. Lori has over 20 years of experience that has allowed her to hone her unique blend of gentle intuitive massage, body work, and energy clearing. She also skillfully infuses essential oils into her work with clients if they want that. Lori creates a calming, safe, and non-judgmental space for her clients to rejuvenate and to heal. Her work is powerful

I had a wonderful experience at the nail salon here at Harbor Bay Club! I never even knew there was a nail salon here until I saw a deal on Groupon. For $33, you can get a nice manicure and pedicure. Martha was my nail technician and I felt well taken care of. She was gentle, took her time through out the whole process, and paid attention to detail. The foot and hand massage was so wonderful --I felt that I really got my bang for my buck. I definitely recommend giving this place a try, especially with the Groupon promotion that's currently going on!

A nice selection of equipment, beautiful location, warm pool, but definitely needs an update from the late 80's early 90's decor. The women's locket room needs to be scrubbed with bleach and recaulked to get rid of the moldy parts. Recent massage done was ok, but there is zero ambiance to the spa area. You can tell the lack of flow from turning raquetball rooms into weight areas, it needs to be updated badly!

I just had a very disappointing interaction with the head of maintenance for the club regarding the bike locks.
Some of you may have noticed that the club intends to cut off any locks left attached to the bike rack. For convenience, consequently, I leave the lock attached and retrieve it when I am at the club.
I understand the desire of the club to remove the locks, but I think there should be a reasonable alternative, which I suggested to
