The Mission of KLA Schools is to provide a safe, innovative environment and high quality education for the students of our communities inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach to education. All children are honored as individuals who are intrinsically motivated and are active participants in their learning.
Our educators know the importance of creating a trust filled relationship with our infants. As our educators soothe and nurture children they support them in building a sense of confidence by responding quickly and appropriately to their natural cues. Our educators comfort your baby while holding, talking, singing in a quiet reassuring voice, and by making eye contact with them.
We investigated many great philosophers and were most influenced by Jean Piaget's Constructivist Theory and Lev Vygotsky's Socio-Constructivist Theory, as well as the works of John Dewey on the importance of bringing students' past experiences into the classroom. The works of Jerome Bruner and Paulo Freire also amazed us.
At KLA Schools We hire the "who" as well as the "what", considering who you are is as important to us as what you know. We are currently seeking individuals that are creative, team players, curious, and willing to be facilitators of children's learning while believing in the child's competency and potential.

After much consideration and countless hours of research, I enrolled my daughter at KLA. The early childhood development center strives for excellence in their endeavors. The early years are the most important. I wanted to place my child in a learning environment where her curiosity could be nurtured. The school environment is nurturing and the teachers are friendly and professional. I feel secure in my decision to enroll my child and I highly recommend KLA schools of Miami.
