At Montessori Kids Universe (MKU) our philosophy is a beautiful combination of authentic Montessori methods, Reggio Emilia Methods and developed together with DaVinci Kids. Let's look more at each of these. The Montessori Method is an educational philosophy developed more than a century ago by a medical doctor in Italy, Dr. Maria Montessori.
Learning in our schools extends far beyond basic language development and building foundational mathematical skills. Extending beyond the traditional elements of the Montessori classroom, at Montessori Kids Universe we offer our students a wide range of MKU enrichment activities. Each of the enrichment activities that we offer provides a different benefit and a different experience.
Our MKU Founders, Nancy and Tom Boehm, create a strong leadership team. There passion for early child development and business leadership, are the foundation for Montessori Kids Universe and its franchisees success. Nancy Poulos Boehm is Co-founder and CEO of Montessori School Franchising, LLC.
An educator and entrepreneur; Nancy has founded 19 private early childhood schools and is a strong champion of the Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies.Through years of academic research in early childhood education; she observed that children enrolled in Montessori programs achieved much greater academic outcomes compared with children enrolled in traditional childcare programs.

My husband and I joined the MKU family in 2018. We recognized a need for exemplary childcare in our community in 2017, and attempted to start a Montessori school on our own. That process was not short on trials and tribulations, and ultimately we were unable to identify a bank with the gusto to partner with us having minimal experience with childcare.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
MKU has been a blessing for our family. My children smile as they walk through the doors every morning and this puts my mind at ease. The staff and teachers are very nurturing and treat my kids as their own. The director, Ms Melinda, is very responsive. I highly recommend the MKU for your childcare needs.

This is the best school that my son has gone to. I am glad, I found the school. The staff is extremely friendly, sweet and is always willing to answer questions and talk. They do a variety of activities throughout the day and the teachers are very caring. My son loves MKU school. I highly recommend the school.

This school changed my daughters life in a beautiful way! She was terrified of leaving her moms side as she had been at home for the first two years. The school and teachers embraced her and she has blossomed under there care. She loves getting up and going to school. Thank you to the team, Melinda, Carla, Ting, and everyone else! I haven’t had a bad encounter!

This school is amazing!! Reggio Emilia educational approach is outstanding!! MKU is really a true Montessori school with dedicated and certified teachers. We can really notice the difference from our previous school. Our child has been flourishing and is super motivated to go to school everyday as she has never been!! I strongly recommend MKU!!!

My 3-year-old twin girls have been attending for over a year now. I love everything about this school. The staff and teaachers genuinely love the students. My girls often tell my that Miss Ting and Miss Carla are their "best friends." Melinda, the director, is an absolute gem: awesome personality, incredibly communicative, clearly cares about students' success and teachers quality of life.
I really appreciate the fact that they take covid, and the safety of our littles, so seriously. Temperature checks are taken upon arrival. The teachers wear faceshields and masks. The kiddos wear faceshields

Such an amazing school! We toured others before enrolling and we didn’t actually find any TRUE Montessori schools in Spring. When you walk into MKU you can see all the sensory/work/play stations strategically set up around the classroom as you would in a TRUE Montessori school. I love that the teachers truly care about the children and their growth. We received daily updates/reports/pictures that walk us through the entire time our son is in class. It’s just an amazing school!

I LOVE THE SCHOOL! I have my 4 yo and 2 yo there and I am so happy with the school. They love it there always bringing home interesting craft works they did and singing new songs in french that they learned 😄. It was our first time in a Montessori system and let me tell you that it is really amazing. I TOTALLY recommend MKU for your kids. You can see that the Director and teachers are completely approachable and dedicated to the wellbeing of the kids and for us “moms” Having an online daily update with pics and journal of what they did all day is very relieving!! ☺️👍🏻

Montessori Kids Universe Spring Cypress is a great place for children. It has a unique Montessori program that helps children become independent, brillant and well rounded individuals. The school is beautiful, homely, clean and safe. The staff are nice and caring. I also love the fact that their meals are healthy.

All my kids went to a Montessori school because of their superb curriculum. So when I visited this particular Montessori I was not surprised at the state of the art set up. This is even much more modern than some of the Montessori I've visited. The owner was very hands on and helpful. Very spacious and warm environment. I definitely recommend this Montessori to parents in the Spring Cypress area.
