Taekwon Do is a hard-style Korean martial art known for powerful and effective hand and foot techniques. Based on physical rigor, mental focus and ettiquette, Taekwon Do strengthens body and mind. Foothills Taekwon-Do was founded in 1969 as part of the United States and International Taekwon Do Federations.

For over forty five years we have strived to provide the very best technical instruction to our students. Classes are taught by seasoned black belt instructors dedicated to developing human potential. We stress good technique and the five tenets of Taekwon-Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit.
Services
Shiloh House is a residential program for boys who have suffered abuse or neglect, and the program helps them become more mature, responsible, and confident. The Shiloh Outreach Taekwon-Do Program teaches complimentary Taekwon-do classes to the boys. We love these kids and it is always bittersweet when they graduate from their program and move out of the Shiloh House nest and hence, out of our TKD classes.
Although not every art joined in the resulting organization, an organization was created with many of the participants and the backing of the government. Its name was suggested by 1957 9th degree black belt General Choi Hong Hi as Taekwon-Do. The similarities between Taekyon and Tae Kwon Do are the high flying kicks and various other foot actions, but this style wasn't completely unified until the 1960s.
