Kids 12 and under now train for free at the Kompound! The Kompound Training Center is the only 501C3 nonprofit Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym of its kind in Colorado. We offer free kid's memberships by leveraging our adult memberships and sponsorships - all designed to encourage children to experience the benefits of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training from a young age.
We witness on a daily basis how lives change from BJJ training and with our kid's program we hope to help the children of our community grow as well. At The Kompound Training Center our teaching approach is around demonstrating techniques and drills for real world situations.

All Jiu-Jitsu training begins, and ends, with the fundamentals. As the old saying goes, you can't learn to walk without learning how to crawl first. That holds true for almost anything you learn and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is no different. That's why we start all of our students, from teenagers to adults and even older students, with the Fundamentals class.
Advancement in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a gradual progression. The Kompound Training Center offers a variety of classes to meet the needs of our students as they progress. The next progression is the All Levels class. This class adds additional techniques to the curriculum, broadening a student's skill set as well as exposing them to live sparring where they can hone their techniques.
For students who have mastered the Fundamentals and progressed through the All Levels class, the Advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) classes are the next step. Generally reserved for students that have advanced to color belts - blue belt and up - these classes are for serious students who have a Black Belt as their goal.
At the Kompound Training Center, we believe in training the right way, right from the start. It begins with our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) Kids classes, open to boys and girls age 4-12. The classes are designed to help your children learn the basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self defense, while improving their confidence and self esteem.
At Kompound Training Center we believe the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is something that should be experienced by everyone, regardless of age or gender. Not only is it a fun way to stay fit, it's also a great way to learn discipline and practice self-defense. Our Women's classes help female students of all experience levels to enter the world of BJJ.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
I've been training her for almost 3 years. I've stayed for the welcoming environment and top shelf coaching. There are classes for everyone, whether you just want a new hobby and some exercise, or if you want to train hard and compete. We have an excellent competition team.

I dropped in for a BJJ class while I was in Denver. Coach Morrison was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and encouraging. Everyone was welcoming and kind. I’m very much looking forward to the next time I’ll be in Denver so I can stop by again. Additionally, the gym was clean and well equipped. I definitely recommend this gym!

This is a great place to train. I have only done bjj here so i cant speak for muay thai but the bjj here is solid. Im a blue belt and have trained for over 3 years at various gyms and this is a great one to be at. Jeremiah is the main instructor for this location and he is one of the most well versed brown belts in this state. He will stay after class to help you with whatever crazy technique you want to learn and if he doesnt know it he will try to learn it to help you with your journey. Tuesday night positional training with Mike is a great way to prepare for competition. Im glad i found this
