Taekwondo originated in ancient times when people had no means other than bare hands and body to defend themselves; so they naturally developed the bare-hand fighting techniques from their experiences of fighting against beasts whose defensive and offensive motions were also the subject of analysis.
Taekwondo originated in the history of the Korean peninsula, when there were the three tribes Koguryo, Paekje and Silla, always rivaling among themselves for the hegemony. As a result, youth warrior corps were organized, such as "Hwarangdo" in Silla and "Chouisonin" in Koguryo, which both adopted the martial art training as one of the important subjects of learning.

If I could tap on a SIXTH star, I would! My children have been going to Littleton Taekwondo for years, and as a parent and consumer, that is a testament unto itself. The fundamentals of development and applied training have reaped the rewards of confidence and abilities that are not easy to achieve.
And guess what? Not every child gets a trophy or a ribbon! All rewards and recognition are well-earned. The expectations are set as soon as you enter: "Prepare the child for the path, not the path for the child."
I'll keep my kids there for years to come. This is a sincere undertaking by masterful

I trained with Master Santos 17 years ago when I was a teenager and now my kids train here as well. This is an awesome school! I’ve been around TKD for a long time and if you want a school that is fun but maintains the discipline and respect of a traditional TKD then you have to come in and try it out.

I moved to Colorado as a black belt a few years ago and really shopped around all the taekwondo schools from Centennial to Littleton. Littleton Taekwondo felt like home the minute I walked in the door. It is family-owned and provides high-quality martial arts instruction, all the way from the youngest kids through black belt ranks. When my son was old enough, he started classes too. In fact there are quite a few families that train at the school, kids and parents. I can't recommend Littleton Taekwondo enough.

My daughter and I have been training at Littleton Taekwondo for the past 10 years. Grand Master Santos, the founder, teaches self defense seminars and classes. Master Dana teaches classes and operates the best kids after school program in Littleton. Master Aaron is a very knowledgeable instructor who is great with kids and adults alike. This is the martial arts school for you and your family!
