I cannot share any information regarding the care of patients, my review is wholly centered on their financial department. My stepdaughter is being hounded to pay her fathers bill. They are taking her to collections, and she never even visited this place due to the COVID pandemic. There is no way she could have signed or co signed and document, and when asked to produce any proof of said, they have avoided my calls, avoided in producing any paperwork, and are not keeping their word. They fail to return calls when promised, yet still keep bill collectors after her. She is trying to buy a home, the

This place has taken care of my mother for several years. Her care is top notch and the staff is terrific. I have dealt with the social workers, the accounting department, activities group, kitchen staff, nursing staff and CNAs. Everyone has been professional and friendly everytime. Her care over the years has made her life healther, safer and more fulfilled. It has extended her life. I highly recommend Villa Las Palmas.

I was initially scared to take my husband to this facility because of the low ratings and (1) stars. I had no choice at the time because it was the only one available that he could go to. It turned out to be a great place for my husband. The staff are caring and nice, the PT/OT and speech people are EXCELLENT!!! Yes, its outdated/not spotless and certain areas smelled. My husband finally got transferred to a place closer to home. Some of the staff cried as well as my husband when he left. We were there a little over 3 months and got used to seeing/working with everyone. I came every day to make

While my mom was at this facility the bathroom was never cleaned in 7 days.
In addition, a sweet lady on hospice prayed most of the night for God to relieve her pain. No one on hospic should be in pain 😢
3 people to a room, residents, nurses and caregivers gathering in the hallways. Very loud. Residents have to ask for water, medications were forgotten until my mom told them they were missing (what if she didnt know her medications?). Dont leave your loved ones alone.

This place deserves less than one star. The negligence here has caused irreparable damage and no one should have to suffer even more than they already have to in their last days. I could write a lengthy statement detailing all of the bad things that happened over the duration of our loved one’s 48 hours in this place. I highly doubt any of these good reviews are legit. BEWARE. OF. THIS. PLACE.

2.5 stars only because prior experience was completely different than my Mom's last stay. PT is great, always. However, at my Mom's last discharge, she was given the wrong syringes for her diabetic needs and inadvertently got 4X the dose she should have. She went into shock (we were traveling) but luckily a professional was near and knew what to do to reverse the problem. I feel VLP was negligent. My Mom passed just weeks after that and I will always wonder if that instance had contributed in any way to her death.
The other problems I had with VLP, although at the time were extremely unprofessional
