DO NOT let your family member go to Victoria Post Acute Care. My dad, 89 years old, was sent there when he tested positive for Covid. The doctor never saw him until the last day. He never got a shower even though he asked repeatedly and he lost 14 pounds. After 15 days of this his wife and I, daughter, pulled him out. He was negative for Covid and even if he was still positive I would have pulled him. I consider this Elder Abuse.

I was a patient at Victoria (and it's not a secret} from 11/8/21 to 11/17/21 primarily for physical therapy following a hospital stay. Mostly that's the norm here for the section I was in. I was very well fed and taken care of. I'm a senior with some mobility issues and feel fortunate to have been here. I want to give a few shout-outs. Gabby, Crystal and Brenda, besides doing their CNA jobs (etc.) very well, they need to take their act on the road! I hated leaving them. I was helped by the charming PT therapist Mike to get motivated to improve my health. That elusive thing called

Please please read this review before you choose your facility.

do not send your loved ones, friends or family to this place...

if i could give them negative stars I would give them a thousand...

1. my mom was discharged to this facility on Aug. 16th 2021.
she was in covid unit for 14 days, then released to a reg room.
she was on 5-6 liters of oxygen at this time.
you have to make an appt to see your loved one so they can have them ready to be brought out to the tables in front of the facility. several times we had our appt scheduled and waited 30-45 mins for them to bring

I think this place should be called house of Angels. My mother had to stay here for 2 months after a hip fracture and then hip replacement, and I really can't say enough about this facility. My mom received the best care here, the entire staff, from nurses, doctors and front reception did an outstanding job. Anyone would be so lucky to have rehabilitation here.

I have a family member who resides at Victoria Post Acute and they rant and rave about how much they love the nurses! The care that residents receive here is unbelievably amazing. All of the nurses and nursing assistants are so sweet and talkative. There’s so many opportunities for my family member to take some fresh air and even bird watch! Anytime I come to visit, the staff make me feel right at home.

I recently had a member of my family spend time at this facility and cannot recommend it enough for anyone who needs short or long term care. The facility was extremely clean and had a great deal of policies and procedures in place in respect to the ongoing pandemic making patients and visitors feel safe and comfortable while going through a difficult time. Every staff member i had contact with went above and beyond for me and my family and we will be forever grateful. The staff definitely exceeds expectations for high quality patient care. They are hardworking and caring making sure they do everything

This is the Best Facility in East County.
This facility was my son's great-grandmothers last place she called home. She was admitted under hospice care. From the first day of admission staff always went above and beyond to ensure all her needs were met. Not to mention how accommodating they all were anytime we visited.  Housekeeping and laundry staff did an amazing job ensuring her room and clothes were allways clean.
The food was delicious and always made from scratch.  I am beyond grateful for all the staff that helped care for grandma. Always making sure she was comfortable until the Lord

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!
Send my grandma to them
They hadn't showered her in three days, they did not issue her her personal belongings the entire time that she was at the facility, they were overmedicating her, and the facility look dirty and not kept up. My grandmother complained about many "weird" things going on there...

Imagine for a moment abuse and mistreatment of your loved one during a pandemic. There is no rescuing them. You feel utterly hopeless. For weeks you hear a barrage of heartbreaking complaints. You call and advocate for them, but the majority of time it's fruitless.

Imagine they fall from grogginess/sleepiness all because of a certain night shift worker that they were afraid of. Then they fall into a deep depression, cooped up in their bed dreaming of better days because they shouldn't have to live their last days like this. And yes, those were his exact words, his last days indeed.

I spent two weeks at Victoria after ankle surgery. The staff was excellent in all aspect of my care. The physical and occupational therapy was top notch. The administrative and nursing staff was great; even the cleaning and laundry staff were efficient and friendly. The food was amazingly good, and they were great at any special requests I made. A very special thing for me, was they are very animal friendly, and they let my husband bring our dog to visit me in my room every day. One day, four of my friends came with three of their well behaved dogs, and we had a lovely time out on their beautiful

As I sit, writing this review, my father, who was sent to this facility by Kaiser, is gone. We spend our days settling his affairs, and the rest of our time missing him, wondering if he might still be here if things had gone differently. What I can say, with absolute certainty, is that this facility was of minimal to no help in the matter. Rather than take you through a long and drawn out account of what happened, I'll give you the short version. The two things to take away from this review are listed below.

1) Kaiser is, in my opinion, not the best insurance option (Sharp Rees-Stealy

Lilly is an advocate for patient care from day one. She gave my husband a thorough and detailed tour of the facility while I was still in the hospital. We had a horrific experience at another rehab center and were very leary - Lilly listened to our concerns and addressed each one. She came to Sharp to meet me and introduce herself before we had decided what facility to come to and that sealed our decision. She coordinated my transfer personally and came to the hospital again the morning of transfer to let me know what time to expect the ambulance- she let her nursing staff know the issues I had
