Services
In 1999, Dr. Tom Holt graduated from the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska; and then moved to Coos Bay, taking over the well-respected practice of Dr. John Muenchrath. Dr. Holt immediately became a leader in the local dental community, serving two terms as both President of the Southwestern Oregon Dental Society and as trustee to the Oregon Dental Association.
Dr. Tom Holt provides dental treatment plans based on the individual needs and wants of each patient. We seek to educate, inform, and enable our patients to make the best decisions possible regarding their dental health and smile. We are honored to serve families from a diverse range of communities including Gold Beach, Port Orford, Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point, Coos Bay, North Bend, Reedsport, and Elkton.

Awesome service from the dentist and the staff other than the front desk gal by the name of Lizz. Very rude and unprofessional. Every time I have to speak with her she has a very demeanding and aggressive attitude. I work in Healthcare and understand the pressures and demand it brings. Her behavior makes a 5 star go to a 3 souly because her attitude.

Usually I'm satisfied with his work. until today. As a family dentistry, you should know that we're always doing what's best for our kids. I understand there are rules and such, and yes I may have broken them. Today I as wheeling my son around to keep him calm. He didn't seem to bother anyone, in fact the older gentleman you were working on got a… good laugh about my son wandering in the room you were on by mistake. I apologized. But I heard you demand me to sit back in my room and wait. You guys know my son is autistic, at least it should be in his file. What's the point of calling me back

I have a large family and accommodating them can be difficult. I have tried to get all of my children's appointments on the same day for my own personal ease, but was told that would be too difficult. Today I was asked to not bring all of my children as they take up too much space in the lobby. Only seeing two at a time requires multiple times of the waiting room being full of the rest of us, and others will be there as well since there is obviously room for more appointments. When I replied what else can I do I was told to use a babysitter. So, now not only do I have to cramp more than one day

Nagging toothache, called Dr. Holt, received immediate appointment and competent care from him and Rick. He gave me conservative advice as to how to fix it without leaping to expensive procedures and the pain was gone in a day or two. This office has taken care of me every since Dr. Holt arrived here and I have never been disappointed.

First thing you notice in entering are photos of neighborhood kids adorning the walls? second is how the staff goes out of their way to create the look, feel, and attitude of a nail salon. . . arrived for my ins exam and was told I didn't have an appointment. When mentioned I had confirmed and spoke to Babs, I was told to have a seat. Several hours later,,,,, at close of business, I was finally seen. The Dentalist (sp?) could easily pass for Pee Wee Herman or perhaps Dr Seuss. routinely stammering and phumphering his way, asking general med questions and examining my neck? Completely underwhelmed

I am so pleased with Dr. Holt. He is an excellent dentist!!! I needed to have two teeth extracted and I was extremely nervous about the pending procedure. The extractions went so expertly that I didn't even realize that the teeth were out. How wonderful is that! He is the best dentist I've ever had! And he discusses all available options with you so that you understand all alternatives in order to make an informed decision. Have no fear - Dr. Holt is here!
