Lynsie enjoyed growing up in Myrtle Point and graduated from Myrtle Point High School in 1999. After graduating with a bachelor's degree from Western Oregon University in 2003, Lynsie pursued a career in dentistry. Lynsie is a certified surgical dental assistant and an expanded functions dental assistant.
Dr. Brent is a graduate from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Class of 2007. Having grown up in Coquille, his life-long plan was to return to the area he loves and practice dentistry with his father, Herman. In July of 2007, his plan became a reality, and Dr. Brent opened his practice. He moved back to the area with his wife, Dr. Heidi Pahls, and his newborn daughter Madeleine.
Dr. Herman is a graduate from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Class of 1977. Having grown up in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Herman searched for a small-town community in order to raise his family. He and his wife Karen, fell in love with Coquille and he began his practice here in 1982. Both his son and daughter enjoyed their small-town upbringing and continue to live in the area.
X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems. Detecting issues with x-rays before they become problematic can save you money in the long run. Early detection can help prevent the need for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. At Pahls Family Dentistry, we use digital x-rays, which have several advantages over traditional film based x-rays.

Having recently moved to the coast, it was time to find a dentist. Dr Pahls' practice was recommended by my previous dentist. I was very pleased with my care that day (full xrays, consultation with Dr H Pahls, and a cleaning by Steven). Finding new services, be it doctors or dentists or mechanics or accountants, etc) is always a bit nerve wracking. I'm so glad that Dr Pahls' office was recommended to me.

I’m new to the area and it was the first time I’ve been to the dentist in years. Everyone was super nice and friendly and made me feel comfortable. My teeth felt amazing and clean afterward. All my questions and concerns were answered by the dentist and the hygienist gave me useful tips to help keep my teeth healthy and clean.

I had a very difficult extraction for two teeth this morning. Dr. Pahls went above and beyond to keep me as comfortable as possible and was very, very kind throughout the procedure. As a person with extensive dental problems, it is so comforting to be treated with such kindness and respect. I had been to multiple dentists before seeing Dr. Pahls, I highly recommend the Pahls family because of their gentle kindness, and respectful approach to patient centered care.
