At Bee Happy Children's Dentistry, Dr. Pahls provides dental care to kids in a warm and anxiety-free environment. We believe that happy smiles come from healthy teeth, and love sharing our philosophy in a fun and engaging manner with your child! Our office was designed with your child's health and comfort in mind.
Preventive dental care begins at home and is maintained through regular check-ups at the dentist. Professional cleanings performed by a hygienist or dental assistant are important to your child's dental health, as are daily brushing and flossing. Remove tartar from teeth surfaces. Tartar, or calculus, is plaque that has become so hardened on the teeth that its removal requires special procedures.
We encourage you to pay attention to the type of toothpaste you give small children; fluoride levels vary from product to product. For children under age 2, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry endorses a tiny smear of fluoridated toothpaste. A pea-sized amount is recommended for children under six years of age, but read the fine print on the tube for recommendations.
Kid's teeth need dental care, just like grown-up teeth. Regular exams by a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist can help to identify any abnormalities in your child's oral development, and can minimize the impact of decay on your child's health by catching cavities early.

Your child's first dental visit will consist of a thorough review of your child's dental and health information and a comprehensive dental examination along with a discussion on proper diet, nutrition and good oral hygiene habits. Depending on the age and needs of your child, we will complete a professional dental cleaning, conduct re-mineralization therapy, and take any necessary x-rays.

I don’t understand how this business operates. My son had two emergency referrals and they still wouldn’t “approve “him to be seen. Told me they couldn’t see him for seven months even if it did get approved. I had Advantage send his referrals to Eugene and they got excepted and he has an appointment this Friday. I don’t understand how I can get him scheduled in Eugene three days out but it takes them seven months to even schedule an appointment. Don’t take your kids here they obviously don’t care about their jobs they don’t even answer the phone. This is coming from a very concerned

I used to think this was somewhere I could bring my young daughter to safely and professionally get the needed dental work. During the recently scheduled appointments set by Bee Happys, we where informed multiple times that our appointment times had changed after already arriving at the originally agreed upon time. My daughter has been in pain and was denied dental work due to the lack of communication and accountability of this work environment.

I have been working with this office for over 4 years, and I find this staff to be honest, informative, efficient, safe and fun. Dr Pahls is a caring, well trained pediatric dental specialist that does an amazing job; and does what is best for the patient. Have been taking my son here for years I have never once had a bad experience everyone who works here is fabulous and so good with my son! Any problems or concerns ive had are always immediately addressed! I Recommend heidi and any of her staff at bee happy dentistry!

The office staff is always so pleasant and professional. You feel right at home right when you walk in. Dr. Heidi is so nice and makes the kids feel comfortable, my toddlers didn’t even mind while she looked in their mouths. I felt like everything was explained very well and I didn’t leave concerned or with any questions. I recommend Bee Happy to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

The staff at Bee Happy Children's Dentistry really knows how to communicate with kiddos and parents alike. The TVs and goodie bags and special treats are always such a joy for my daughter. She looks forward to going to the dentist and Dr. Heidi is the best! They are knowledgeable, fun, caring, and happy, everything you want in a kids dentist experience. I wish I had an experience like this when I was a kid maybe I wouldn't be so terrified of Dentistry. Lol
