Our one or two bedroom apartment homes have huge walk-in closets, a private balcony or patio and in some apartments new high end flooring in your kitchen. My wife and I lived in The Highlands for 5 years before eventually buying a house in the area. We had both been renters for years and without the doubt The Highlands were the nicest apartments we had lived in. What really set The Highlands apart from previous apartment complexes we had lived in was the responsiveness and attentiveness of the staff.

Nice looking apartments in a good neighborhood but for the price I'd expect better construction and sound proofing. We can hear every footstep from above as though it's being amplified through the walls. It's been disappointing in that regard. You can have all the amenities in the world but if you can't enjoy peace and quiet in your own home they aren't worth much.
