Fountain Square Apartments

I moved into this space in 2016 with my significant other. His son was 9 at the time and we knew he would spend time with us so we converted the den to a room for him and put up curtains to create a "door." It worked out great! Life has since changed and that den area now serves as a dining room and office. My current significant other just moved in and has a space to work that feels separate from our leisure space. I missed getting an apartment by one day the first time I applied dye to not paying application fee. After learning my mistake I kept looking everyday and just to be turned down the second time for prior bankruptcy. Discriminating and aweful to be judged. They are not sympathetic and workable. My advice don't rent from them.

I lived at Fountain Square for 1.5+ years and had a very nice stay. Maintenance was quick on the job plus proficient and I had no issues with the front office staff. I had no issues with noise/neighbors, either.

Wonderful apartment complex. I’ve lived here for about a year and absolutely enjoy it. The grounds are well-maintained, and the apartments are up-to-date. It’s the third apartment I’ve lived in and I’ve never felt more at home here.
It’s a safe neighborhood and the complex has great amenities. The pool and hot tub are great in the summer, and the fitness center is great year-round.

When I l had lived at this complex, I wasn't told ahead of time that my unit would be facing two huge construction sites that were extremely noisy, from dawn until dusk ( I work at home during the days). Not only that, the construction people blare their music all day over the construction sounds of the trucks and their beeping and their work. I have a few of trucks and cranes. Was not told about this before I moved in, but management claims they had no idea there were going to be not one but TWO huge construction sites ongoing yards away from the complex. The other day there was a big snow storm that needed plowing several times, the apartments are generally pretty timely and we usually never have issues with that. However the next morning after the snow plows came through we discovered that our parked car was hit by the plows so much so that it caused not only the paint to be removed but for it to be dented. As you see in the picture, it is much too high to be a sedan or truck. The workers never reported their mishap and now we’re stuck with a ruined car. Would not recommend this apartment complex if you plan on leaving your car in the lots.

Pretty bizarre to see all the bad reviews given our experience. My family and I have lived in the one of the apartment-style units for over two years and our experience has been very positive. Units are spacious and fairly modern. Amenities are very good, and they've recently upgraded the dryers in the apartment-style units which is nice. All of our interactions with Lori, Jessie, and Amy have been friendly and maintenance has always been quick to respond to issues reported. If I could give this place zero stars I would. There was a maintenance closet located just outside my apartment and when the apartments maintenance man left the maintenance door open it caused a pipe to freeze. That pipe burst right through our apartment causing more than 5 thousand dollars in damage to our personal belongings. The management refused to cover our $500 renters insurance deductible and couldn’t of been less sympathetic to the problem their staff member caused. We enjoyed our time living at Fountain Square. The accommodations were very nice, and we loved having the garage space. The neighborhood was quiet and I really liked that we had easy access to walking paths and the park. Fabulous location too - very close to gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.
I was especially impressed by maintenance; I submit an online request to have work done and it would be completed by the next day. The office staff were always nice and professional and I really loved the amenities like the tennis court and fitness room.

First, I'm actually really shocked to see all of the negative reviews on here. I've lived at Fountain Square for two years and have just signed another lease with them, for a different unit. All of the office staff - Lori, Jesse, and Amy - are extremely helpful. As long as you communicate with them, they will help you in any way they can. Most of the time, when I put a maintenance order in it's fixed within 24 hours, even if it is a low priority issue.
