Prices will be quoted only from the service provider during the consultation time or before the service. Consultations are highly recommended for all new guests: A time to sit down with a stylist to discuss anything and everything about your hair.
Stylists who have gone through extensive training with Moxie Hair Salon, ARROJO, and other industry trainers. Strong Leaders in the industry as well as at Moxie Hair Salon. Directors attend national education throughout the industry and bring it back to the rest of the team through our training programs.
Our goal is to help everyone in our industry to reach the success and fill their day with education, inspiration, and the skills to do great things. I brought my ten year old in to get her hair cut and tips colored for school. The hair cut she got was good, but this dye job is awful. This is just one side of her head. What’s the dot!? She also asked for purple not blue black. There was clearly no care taken in coloring my daughters hair. The color was inaccurately applied and was clearly left on too long. When we complained the solution was to reschedule her with the same colorist, but she was booked for a week and a half!? I stated that this was not a good solution. The response was that they would have to consult the owners for policy exceptions

This is a review for highlights/balayage with "executive" level stylist Torrey.
I held off on my.review until giving her a chance to touch-up, which she/they were very accommodating and got me in the next day after my initial color appt so that was cool.
All in all, just nooooot impressed. I've included a photo of how it looked after the first visit. There was a large chunk in the back that was not blended well at all. The rest wasn't perfect but it was fine enough. So I went in to have her extend some highlights so it wasn't such a sharp block of un-hilighted hair in

I came to Moxie for a trim and color with damaged poorly colored hair. My stylist was kind and corrected the color but I’d specified I only wanted a trim without layers. She cut my hair to my shoulders and added multiple layers. Love the color absolutely hate my hair style feel like I paid way too much money to not get the haircut I wanted.

I have always had a great experience with Brentt at Moxie. I have had issues in the past with stylist elsewhere not knowing how to cut my curly hair. From the first time I went in to see Brentt (over 5 years ago), he has never disappointed. His cuts for me have always been extremely manageable and stylish. "I went to Moxie salon because my friend said it was good. I had a terrible experience because the person who colored my hair did not know enough about how to color hair that was colored. She should have told me what would happen. She did not even match my natural hair color., They are very expensive and charge extra for each service.

What can I say other than Stephen, owner of Moxie, is amazing and he trains his peeps right! I started seeing him 16 years ago... my hair was a gorgeous short blond Afro-like puff of curls back then. Then I moved to Austin TX and would only occasionally have the chance to make it back to the cities to see him. Now, I'm moving back to MN with long flowing beach brunette curls down to my waist and he still knows how to highlight/cut these curls better than anyone I found on my travels. Previous to visiting Moxie, I have always had mixed experiences at hair salons. Being someone on a budget I generally head for places that gives $20 haircuts. However, it wasn't a haircut that drew me to visit Moxie a year ago for the first time. After a bad dye job in Hong Kong, my hair was becoming drier than crunchy leaves and my hair was a blend of mismatched colors of new black hair growth and an ugly ashy blonde that was the result of some darker purple/blue color that washed out.

I recently moved here from California and have had a pretty hard time finding a new place that can keep up with my vibrant color in my hair.
Moxie not only was able to get me in right away, but they also matched me with a wonderful stylist that has been wizard with my hair and has been able to keep my personal touch without making it "just another vibrant". Kait is amazing. She's personable and calming and great with hair! Now I don't have any desire to go anywhere else.

Don't blame cut (just had that done on Dec 19) or color (Dec 19). You get what you ask for... I wanted big hair. I got a big mess, similar to what my pillow gives me after 7 hrs of sleep.

Sam did such a good job on my hair! She listened to all my concerns and executed my "goal" image perfectly. She's perfectly professional and easy to talk to. The shampoo experience was surprisingly spa-like: a hot towel on your face during a scalp massage!

Moxie is amazing!
Moxie gives a lot of bang for your buck. Not the cheapest but they give amazing styles.
My suggestion: try out a few stylists before settling. I had been there a few times with good cuts, but kept trying new stylists until I found the perfect fit.
Matthew is ASTOUNDING!!!
I came in saying "I feel bored with my hair" but not wanting a drastic change. I say this a lot, and most stylists just give me mild layers. Matthew took three inches off, and gave me the best blonde highlights/balayage of my life! He not only is an amazing artist, but chatted when I wanted and

As a sudden unexpected gift, one of my beloved daughter's gifted me a special haircut with her stylist, the owner. My life has been extremely busy traveling to both coasts caring for family thus giving me little time to spoil myself. This place has a ton of spunk - it's located a block away from French Meadow and Common Roots. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. My first time there, they offered water/hot tea and a little tour of their facilities. Their stations are more "group" oriented so people sit together while they get their hair done, it's an interesting set up.
I got the "dry cut" which is cheaper than all their other options. It doesn't involve any wetting of the hair or blowing out, so it's literally just giving your hair a trim/cut, depending on whether your hair

Glad we were able to find a place that cut hair for little people. We went one other place and I didn't think they did as good a job as they did at Moxie.
Haircuts for kids are limited hours- no walk ins. The gal that cut my little ones hair did a great job. He looks like such a little man. She did a great job with the edges and trimmed it up perfectly for a very reasonable price!

Uh...never again. Note that this is a review for a perm. The cuts and coloring that I saw at Moxie looked decent but given the experience and lack of results I had with my perm here, you'd have to pay me to get me to come here again.
