Completed in 2009, Lakeside Medical Center is located on a 50-acre medical campus at the intersection of State Rd 80 (Hooker Highway) and State Rd 441 (Main Street). The Healey Center provides top-quality short-term and long-term rehabilitation and 24/7 skilled nursing care for eligible adult county residents. We are a non-profit facility, funded and operated by the tax-supported Health Care District of Palm Beach County as part of its mission to provide access to quality health care services to residents.

In November, Lakeside Medical Center marked it's 10th Anniversary and the C. L. Brumback Clinics held the grand opening of their new Belle Glade Clinic with a big community celebration. In April, the Edward J. Healey Rehabilitation and Nursing Center celebrates it's 100th Anniversary.

Got my first shot today. I scheduled on Saturday using the new online platform. From scheduling to receiving my immunization today ...everything went smoothly.
I had to go to the South Florida Fairgrounds for my appointment. I received emails and text confirmations prior to my appointment. Once I arrived all the workers from the parking lot, to the line attendants, to the fire fighter who administered my injection were very professional and organized.

We registered online for the Covid vaccination and waited anxiously for an appointment. We felt like we had won the lottery when we received notice of an appointment at the Delray Civic Center.
I had seen a news report from the first day the shots were being given at this location, and the news wasn't good: senior citizens standing in line in the heat for more than 3 hours before they could enter the building for their vaccinations. Yikes!
Fortunately, the organizers made some adjustments and our experience was much better. We waited about 25 minutes outside as the line moved fairly

Just had my Covid-19 vaccine. The Email system to register, once they got it working, was very efficient. I was very jittery when I went because of the hundreds of people that were there. I hope I don't get Covid-19 getting the vaccine!! When we registered inside, no one was 6 feet apart. People weren't obeying the signs and were dodging in and out every which way. I feel sorry for the people working and thank them for putting their lives on the line for us. They didn't even provide them with partitions.

There you see a primary who does not care about anything but what they want you to do. You will get no care for any ailments after waiting 3 months to see a doctor. Whatever problems I had was outsourced to a specialists. When I tried to get an appointment with the multiple specialists I had to see, they would not see me because I needed approval codes on the referral sheets. I'm sure you can imagine what happened when I tried to get a hold of someone at the health care district to get the referral codes. It was impossible to reach anyone by phone. I had to wait 3 months for another appointment

I just recently got approved for coverage by the Health Care District. Although I knew that it was the bare minimum of medical care I didn't realize how bad it was until I tried to get a referral for a specialist. First, the specialist insisted that his name had to be on the referral, not just the practice. Then the diagnosis was wrong. After the diagnosis was corrected, the ICD code was wrong. Its been almost six weeks since I started trying to see this specialist and I've still not seen him and I'm in constant pain. I've been to the Emergency Rooms of two local hospitals just to get some temporary

HORRIBLE place! IF you're interested in getting a job in IT - stay away, stay far far away!! Place is a dump being run by amateur at best IT Director Cindy Y. and pathetic IT workers. If you're dumb and just a yes ma'me, no ma'me person - this is the perfect place for you. You will thrive! If you have a brain and question different things, you will be frowned on. Their motto is compassion but they aren't compassionate in the least bit. My suggestion - Get rid of the camera hungry CEO and the rest of the jokes down the line. Start fresh because this place has promise but they're heading nowhere
