Unique Med is a full-service home health agency providing the best quality home care services to patients of all ages within the community. We have a team of highly skilled professionals who are carefully chosen and screened to ensure the safety of our patients, and who are qualified and prepared to give the best needed care suitable to each person.
Following a hospital stay, you may require additional care to help you have a safe transition at home. Post hospital, or skilled nursing care is a high level of medical care that can be provided in an outpatient setting by our skilled nursing staff. Your treatment length will vary depending on your illness, injury or medical condition.
Our professionals can assist in restoration of normal language and swallowing skills that have been affected by illness or accident. The needs of the patient are evaluated by specially trained Speech and Language Pathologists to develop a plan to improve both physical and cognitive skills including swallowing, speaking, reading and writing.
Our Director of Nursing is available to provide guidance and support to staff, patients and family members. We triple-screen our caregivers and employees carefully, including use of reference checks, driving records and criminal background investigations. We perform competency evaluations when new skills are introduced?.

Horrible. If you get this company for home health, you are better off without any "care". My nurse came a week AFTER surgery, not when I really needed help. Was not punctual, didn't call to say he would be early or late. And the office said his phone was "out of order". How do you have employees seeing patients without communication? The one day the nurse came he did nothing but made me sign a bunch of ridiculous paperwork and took my blood pressure. A waste of time.
