This is a home away from home. A place where I feel safe and secure to learn without judgement or attachment to outcome. Here I have been challenged and accepted, tested and loved. José Luis Becerra, Mike Gizzo, and Virgil have been the best instructors, pushing me when needed, and helping me up when I fall.

I come here pretty consistently and I've previously trained Muay Thai and BJJ before and I have to say the instructors they have here are top-caliber, the community is welcome and diverse, and it's a lot of fun.

Almost all of the instructors they have are either professional-level, or close to, yet they are very welcoming so no need to feel intimidated by that. Also, each of them have a simple way of explaining things to make sure you understand the lesson/technique - this is especially true for jiu jitsu as I always felt BJJ was too complicated for me but the instructors made it much

I love NYCC!

Amazing gym for training Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA. The coaches are thorough, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about all of their respective disciplines. I've been training with NYCC for more than a year now and I feel like I've grown tremendously as a martial artist but also as a human.

Classes are still relatively small, so you get lots of 1-1 attention and mat time. That being said, all of the instructors structure their classes in ways that allow you to learn the nuances of Muay Thai, BJJ or MMA while also being open enough for students of all skill

I can't say enough good things about this program to do it justice. All of the instructors are super helpful, encouraging, and easy to work with. The students are also very friendly and patient with beginners which is awesome and it's easy to make friends. This is definitely a great experience that people should try.
