Freedom Park Preschool is a half day preschool program providing a loving and nurturing environment for the children of the neighboring communities since 1982. We are a community of learners: children, families, and educators from diverse backgrounds. We believe that children are natural explorers and collaborators with innate creative abilities.
We believe in process over product. Our involvement as educators and parents working together serves to foster the love of learning in a safe, respectful community. Building upon our 30+ years of well-established and successful experience with play based learning; we are a community influenced and inspired by the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Services
The application process begins each winter with applications for the new school year being available online in January. Check our calendar for tour dates. Freedom Park Preschool follows a school year cycle operating August - May. For those families who wish to continue enrollment through the summer months we also have a summer camp program which runs in June and July.
At Freedom Park Preschool we view the curriculum as all the experiences that children are engaged in throughout the day. Purposeful play is at the heart of these experiences and cultivates independent thinking, problem-solving skills, mental flexibility, and complex high-level thought. Teachers facilitate children's explorations of themes and work on short and long term research projects.
