We love to see a good celebration and know that we will work with you to make sure the party goes off without a hitch. We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, parties, corporate events, just because, engagements, block parties, dance offs, charity events, trade shows, groundbreaking, house warming.
Our cakes are carefully baked from scratch. All natural and with the freshest ingredients. We can accommodate any flavor palate. The most common flavors range from Classic Orange and Lemon to Hazelnut, Dark Chocolate, or Tres Leches. Everything from silky smooth white mountain satin frosting with Orange, Almond, Hazelnut, Mocha, or anything you wish to taste, to Chocolate, Almond Cream, Chocolate Hazelnut, and Chocolate Raspberry.

They made two cakes for us and both were lovely: a baby shower and a bridal cake. They worked with us in our design (we wanted a Mad Hatter cake), and made a delicious, unique cake for extremely reasonable price. Also the only fondant cake I have ever had that tasted good. Thanks to Cecilia for her wonderful care. My marriage didn’t last, but I still remember how good that cake was!

I called and asked for a small rush cake, and they told me they do not do cakes under $1,000. I only needed something to feed less than 30 people which for a big shop should have been a simple task. I think that if you are that specific about the cakes you will and will not make, you should put that in your advertising. Maybe they should be called "Snooty Slices"

Satin Slices is a fantastic business, and I highly recommend anyone wanting a singular or unique cake for any occasion work with Cecelia and the team! Cecelia is extremely professional, kind, and full of great ideas and enthusiasm. She is such a positive person, and a joy to work with. Satin Slices designed my wedding cake for my unconventional wedding. Working from my vague ideas, they created a beautiful "Mad Hatter" topsy-turvy cake and matching cupcakes for my small wedding. Cecelia was great to work with. She communicated great with me and worked with my budget. The cake was adorable and a huge hit at the baby shower. They delivered the cake on time and everything was perfect. I planned this party from out of state so this was the first time I used them and I'm glad I did.

We were having a very important conference at my company, and getting the cake for our founder's special birthday was very very crucial to the conference. It was my job to get the cake, and after a few mock ups the committee and i had come up with a design. So then it was time for me to interview vendors and find someone to make the cake we wanted. The catch is that the colors had to be perfect - just Red, Yellow, Blue and Green. Nothing hard - but they HAD to

I disagree with the one-star review (though I only ordered a bridal cake.) The cake was beautiful and the fondant ribbon perfectly matched the color sample we had provided. The cake was moist and well-made and the fondant is not a typical chewy gross fondant... It's like a dense delicious marshmallow creme. It was lightly dusted with a shimmer of some sort and was simple and gorgeous. We had one tier of the orange cake with raspberry buttercream icing, and then the others two tiers were french vanilla cake and vanilla cream cheese buttercream icing. My experience working with Satin Slices was very disappointing. During the initial meeting, when we discussed both the grooms cake and brides cake, he sounded excited and assured me that the cakes would come out looking perfect. The grooms cake was a surprise to my husband, and I wanted it to be something to do with his school. I asked the baker which he would feel most comfortable to make well, the stadium, a car or the tower from campus.
