Our veterinarians and staff are devoted to staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs to maintain your pet's optimal health.
As a new client of our animal hospital in Stuart, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition, and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
By signing below you authorize Stuart Sound Animal Hospital to provide a written prescription upon your request or by the recommendation of the physician. Returned Checks-A $25 charge will be added to all accounts with returned checks. If the balance on the account is not paid, and matters need to be handled by a collection agency or an attorney-ALL FEES WILL BE AT THE CLIENT HOLDERS RESPONSIBILITY.
Proof of current vaccinations and annual exam are required for the health and safety of all pets in the hospital. You are to use all reasonable precautions against injury, escape, or death of my pet. The clinic and staff will not be held liable for any problems that develop provided reasonable care and precautions are followed.

We love Stuart Sound! They have always been there for our furry friends over the years and we can depend on their expertise, compassion, and professionalism every single time! Every single staff member is great, but especially wanted to mention Jamy today for her amazing approach to kindness with our sweet Izzy who really responds to a gentle touch. Even though my fur baby didn't make it... I can not be more greatful on how wonderful this place was to me and my baby while we were praying for the best... they made me feel that no mater what they would do the best they could and showed love and compassion for me and my Mikey.
My heart hurts but I can not thank you enough for showing us love and treating us as family and not just numbers like port saint Lucie emergency hospital did <-- place treated us like dirt and only want money not to help my baby

We brought our blind chihuahua here while we were visiting from out of town. They fit us in and did an outstanding job of taking care of him. Everyone was very friendly and professional and the place is very clean. In fact it made us think we need to find a better vet in our hometown.

I called to inquire about getting a script filled using chewy.com. I was told this hospital has a different vendor which can be accessed from their website. Not only is the script cheaper using Stuart Sound Animal Hospital’s website but the lady who I spoke to on the phone took the time to walk me through the site to the exact medication I needed to select. The script was filled and mailed same day. This is much faster than chewy.com and I had the assurance my dog’s Doctor had reviewed the ordered and confirmed it was correct. Thank you and great customer service 👍

Absolutely fantastic animal hospital! I've been to soooo many clinics around south Florida and always felt things were subpar and even just downright awful (I have an English bulldog, I joke that we keep clinics in business). We recently moved to Stuart and found Stuart Sound Animal Hospital. I cannot say enough good about this place! I am SO pleased with every vet, tech, receptionist, and grooming staff I have encountered there. They're so kind, patient, and they seem very happy, which I think is a reflection of management as well. The pricing is a bit higher than other clinics in the

Took our puppy in because she was getting sick and not acting herself. The staff was top notch. All so friendly, upbeat, personable, and still professional. Dr. Adams took an amazing amount of time with us. She gave is options, have her opinion, and answered all our questions some of which weren't related to our visit but relevant to all of our pets. Outstanding place to take a furbaby...not sure about non-traditional pets though

The Vet assistant, another friendly professional, checked the pup over and said DR Rowley will be right in. DR asked a few questions, examined the pup, gave the pup a shot and said the pup should be OK. I have been to many animal hospitals over the years. This one is in the top of the list. Makes you have a feeling of relief when your pet is in the hands of an excellent Vet.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stuart Sound Animal Hospital. Dr. Myles Rowley went above and beyond to extend the life of my dog after diagnosing him with congestive heart failure. The entire staff was so efficient, kind and compassionate. She gave him more time than anyone thought and was there for me and my family for every stage. I couldn't recommend her or the staff more!!!!!!!!!

We've taken our dog and two cats to Dr. Steers and Dr. Carlson for 12 years. There is no vet in the area that gives your pet more personal attention. They have caring, compassionate staff, reasonable prices, and an array of services that includes grooming and boarding. Open M-F 8am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-noon. After-hours emergency services are through a partner facility a few miles away.
