My ideal client is a person that needs help with regulating their day to day life due to relationship issues, codependency, couples issues, emotion regulation, parenting concerns, issues with the law, weight loss and obesity, and self-esteem concerns. I have worked a lot with victims of abuse in many forms.
This video deals with why we can't let things go, how to move on, a prayer and confession is at the end. I break down what a toxic relationship is with questions, how to heal from this toxic relationship, say a prayer and a declaration. This video explains how parentification works, gives great examples of parentification, and great suggestions to stop parentification.
QbTest is a computer-based program that combines a test of attention ability with a movement analysis based on an infrared measurement system. Test results are assembled into a report and compared with data from a control group consisting of people who are the same sex and age as yourself. This way you can see how you react when you concentrate on a task in comparison with people who do not have ADHD.

Our employer's EAP listed a provider at Restore Life as an option for 5 counseling sessions paid for by our company. I contacted them and we got scheduled. Ten minutes before the 3rd session, they said they were unable to see us unless we paid $65 up front for sessions. We were told that we would get reimbursed if and when they got paid. Our EAP said that this was not the agreement and they are not to require prepayments. The EAP has filed a complaint against the organization with our insurance company. It is poor care that they allowed us to get established with a counselor and then changed the

I called to cancel my appointment 4hrs before appointment time because I had to work late…the front desk receptionist didn’t even care all she kept on saying is we will charge you $75 fee…I was like I’m calling now to let you know that I have to work late! But she didn’t even care!!!! Very disappointed ☹️
Thank you for responding to my review but you have not resolved the issue. I understand that it's your policy to cancel within 48hrs but things come up in life and if your patients are calling you to let you know they can't make it because they have to work...you should not charge

I’ll give myself a lobotomy before I ever recommend Restore Life Behavioral Health to anyone.
This is by far the worst place I’ve ever tried to seek mental health services from. It’s abundantly clear that this practice is just that— PRACTICE. And tragically far from perfect. I filled out and turned in my intake paperwork TWO MONTHS before I ever received the first phone call from them. Not even a confirmation that my intake paperwork was received.
I am an adult woman and was paired with a counselor that specializes in working with autistic children and SOMETIMES works with adults, too

Restore Life Behavioral Health has did exactly that—restored my life. This practice has restored me mentally, restored my marriage, and has helped me to understand that I am in control of everything that is happening (or not happening) in my life. I am truly thankful for Shervetta Porter. She is heaven sent. She knows her stuff and she is very relatable.Thank you, Restore Life Behavioral Health.

This place is a joke do not go to it. They billed my insurance for an appointment that I didn’t even go to. I went in for an appointment the lady didn’t know exactly what needed to be done so we talked for a minute at the front desk and then she told me my 15 minutes had passed so I would be charged $90. We were sitting there talking about there process. They told me it would take at least 8-9 sessions. That’s a lie I went and had the ,same thing done in one session, this place is a scam save your money go somewhere else.

I love Shervetta for myself. She is committed to bettering her patients and getting to the root of the problem. Working with her has allowed me to realize some things that I would not have grasped on my own. Every counselor I have spoke to in this practice is awesome. I prefer Shervetta due to me beginning with her. She has been the only therapist that I am able to be completely open with. I have recommended this place to everyone I encounter.

Aside from the fact that their hours are accommodating, it has been proven that certain therapists need to work on how they treat people. Calling clients a liar and telling them that talking about what's is bothering them will not help when you have no coping skills to deal with the situation, is not very helpful at all. Part of talk therapy is to figure out how to enable people with coping skills, but knowing what it is that is ailing them will Definately be an asset. If you choose to utilize this facility, be cautious, as your therapist assigned to you may not be willing to listen to you but
