Phyllis A Foley Counseling provides help and hope for the hurting. I have 20+ years experience in counseling and 26 years as a Psychology Professor and Dean. I have been married for 43 years and have three adult children including fraternal twins. I have an 11-year old granddaughter and 16 month old grandson who help me stay current when working with children.
I focus on empowering individuals to take control of their lives. Occasionally, each of us just needs an objective listening ear who provides insight on all the options available to us and can assist us to reframe our situations.

We couldn't get an appointment for 3 weeks then she cancelled on us the day of the appointment. My wife and I both took time off from work. She said we didn't complete the intake form but she never sent us the form. I offered to complete the form that same day but she didn't respond. We needed immediate counseling for a family member.

Waste of time. Might as well be talking to the wall.
Doesn’t remember from one week to the next what you were talking about previously. (Wasn’t really listening: “checked out”) feigns interest handy with the Kleenex though. No real solutions. if anything, felt worse after. Did I feel “Cared for?” No.
