Services
Rachel Trimarco was born and raised in Brooklyn. While attending Brooklyn Friends School and Cornell University, she enjoyed painting and arranging flowers as an artistic respite from her studies. When it came time to choosing her wedding dcor years later, Rachel was more than thrilled to indulge in her love for flowers, using her favorite blooms to express beauty and emotion.
Our personalized consultations are conducted in-person or on the phone, based upon our client's preferences to accommodate their busy schedules. Our in-person consultations generally last about an hour and are with our CEO and/or Creative Director at our showroom in Manhattan's design district, a few blocks from Bloomingdales.
This vendor is worth every penny. Rachel and her team were amazing from the minute we requested a consultation online. She called us back right away, and on a Sunday.
Going through the consultation process with Rachel and her team is what I believe brides envision meeting with a vendor is like, but sadly vendor meetings often fall short - B&B was professional, prompt, warm, high tech, and the meeting occurred in a forum where design concepts could be articulated, reviewed and revised real time.I believe this set up helped to ensure that Rachel and I were on the same page regarding our vision for our flowers.

This is a biggie. Think of your reception site as a blank canvas on which we will create your masterpiece. Is there bright red wallpaper? Is it a botanical garden that won't need much floral accent? Or are you starting with a clean, empty loft that will need lots of work? After our initial consultation we will accompany you to the venue to get an idea of its size and style.

Carla was so helpful in helping me execute my vision, she provided helpful guidance when I needed it and made adjustments with my feedback. I appreciated that they worked with my budget, they never pressured me to add more unnecessarily. The flowers turned out great. I got so many compliments on all the florals. Before we get into anything else, the actual work that was done at our wedding was beautiful and we have zero complaints on their ability to put together beautiful floral arraignments.
However....the communication, or lack there of, was the most stressful part of our entire wedding. Often times I would go weeks without getting a response, even after following up several times. The communication was so poor that we had to enlist the venue to start following up with them to get the answers and sign offs we needed.

My husband and I hired Bride and Blossom to do our flowers for our wedding at New York Botanical Gardens originally scheduled for June 6th 2020. With all of the changes due to the pandemic, Carla and Bride and Blossom worked with us to make sure our flowers were nothing less than perfect and we had no stress regarding the rescheduling. Our wedding day flowers were unreal. They brought to life the midsummer night dream vision that we had with unreal tree-like flower arrangements, card tables and chuppah. Rachel took our deposit and never delivered her service despite the contractual obligations and trying to work with her to be flexible through the pandemic. She refused to refund any of the deposit when we had to cancel the wedding due to our venue unable to host us due to COVID19. No services were ever delivered and no options for refund were given, she is a complete scam artist double dipping in keeping deposits for canceled events and COVID relief funds.

I found Rachel through my wedding venue, The New York Botanical Garden. At our first meeting Rachel and Carla pulled up my Pinterest board on a big screen in their offices which I LOVED! Bride & Blossom took a look at my vision and then added onto it in the most beautiful way. I knew I wanted to keep things simple and they definitely executed on my aesthetic.

Rachel referred me to her sister, Elisabeth, at ES Blooms to do my floral arrangements. While I cannot speak directly to the Bride & Blossom work, I was extremely disappointed by the work done by her sister's staff. Elisabeth did not (maybe was not able to) oversee the work being done and there was no quality control or consistency. Bud vases came without flowers and the overall work was very haphazard. If Rachel tries to refer you to her sister's company, ES Blooms, you should be very specific about your expectations and get in contract that Elisabeth will deliver the arrangements

UPDATE: more lies from Rachel. I never "fired" my first florist. I had a meeting with another florist as it is common to interview a few before choosing one. Also, it is a lie that I spoke with Eliana after the wedding. Beware of business owners who are incapable of admitting fault.

Bride and Blossom was one of our favorite wedding vendors to work with. Rachel and her entire team were so helpful, organized, and very responsive to emails even up to the night before the wedding! I loved that they were able to tell us upfront how much everything cost, down to each stem. This was really important to me because a lot of other florists were not as transparent about their pricing.
The day of the wedding I was shocked to see how beautiful our ceremony arch was. Additionally my bouquet was ridiculously beautiful and hands down, the most beautiful bridal bouquet I've ever seen

Rachel, Elianna and the team are a tremendous bunch to work with. They took our winter themed vision and turned it into a wonderland all within the confines of our budget. After sharing our inspiration for tall glass vases and billowy white flowers, Rachel put together a package that included not only this request but creatively added details to enhance the theme which included a mix of snowy white branches and white flakes to fill a portion of the clear vases. This vendor is amazing. Always responsive which I need. Great taste. Always honest in how I should spend my money. I had a space that looked very much like a meeting room for my wedding but had nice views. With draping, they transformed the space and it was absolutely beautiful. I loved the beautiful tablescape we had with a long table, tapered candles on candelabras, mirror runner and white flowers in mercury vases. Rachel was always wonderful to deal with and I chose her after lots, I mean lots of research and was happy with my choice. Thank you. Oh wait, my bouquet was to die for also

I did quite a bit of shopping for a florist for my wedding, and decided to go with Bride & Blossom. Not only are they super responsive & affordable, but the consultation meeting is extremely helpful. They are creative & have a screen so you can show them your pinterest photos. The centerpieces came out beautifully and complemented my rustic wedding theme.

Rachel and her team at Bride & Blossom were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, helped me create my vision while still fitting into my budget, and were always communicative and completely professional. I never had to worry that I wouldn't receive the flowers on time or that the quality would be poor. They delivered everything in a timely manner, set everything up, and everything looked beautiful. Meeting with Rachel and Dana was very informative. BFE really does a great job being transparent with all their projects, even down to listing the number of stems in each of their bouquets. They really aim to keep the price down and want the client to have a say in every aspect of the wedding flower project.
