DO NOT waste your time with this company. They will take your application fee along with your application and if someone comes in with a cash deposit, they won’t even process your application, they will keep your money and allow the other person to take the house you applied for. I called to express my frustration and they couldn’t care less. This is NOT a way to run a business. They clearly don’t know what first come first serve entitles.

Was shown a nice place, and was told they accepted pets. In fact, we even discussed the cost of pet deposits. So, myself and 3 others filled out applications, costing $50 each. We spent $200 collectively just to be told they don't accept pets. Don't waste your time with these people. They will steal your money.

Even though we signed a lease that locked us in for over a full year, we recieved notice of an ending to our lease 9 months before what we signed for, as well as an increase in our rent. This is a clear case of disorganization and mismanagement on their part. During this stressful time, the last thing I want to be doing is having to remind the rental company of the lease that we signed together.

Wife and I cleaned this house from top to bottom after living there for three years. We actually paid services to come and make sure the place was looking great. And got none of our deposit back...
Just very frustrating because they asked us three years ago if we could wait to move in for them to replace things like the carpets. We declined, like idiots, and of course now we get to pay them to fix it now.

We had an $1800 dollar deposit. After renting a house from them for 18 month we were looking forward to getting that money back. My wife and I cleaned that house top to bottom, air vents to baseboards. We went to Home Depot and Lowes to correctly match the paint on the walls after taking our security system down. We rented a carpet cleaner, re-cauked the tub, cleaned out the insides of the fridge and oven, mowed the lawns, asked our neighbors to take out our trash, so much more to ensure we got this money back. After 6 weeks from moving out we finally got a check back... $9.50. Their statement

UNDER APRIL REALTY SERVICES PROPERTY MANAGEMENT MY PROPERTY LOSS THE LAST SIX MONTHS ALONE IS OVER $12,000. From my experience after reviewing the time April Realty managed my property I feel and am certain they lack professionalism and very disheartening lack trust. Maintenance is extremely overpriced, and all done "in-house." I've come to realize after researching it would have been cheaper and better quality to have a 3rd party involved. An actual practice the majority of other management companies follow (including the new management company I recently chose). I feel April Realty has cut corners

April Realty is trying to hit me (and my credit) with over $8,000 to basically remodel a house they kicked me out of to sell.
First off, the carpets were in (doggy) shape when we got there. They had an O3 machine running to get rid of the dog smell when we moved in. It was hard to complain at this point, you're moving in, and you're always trying to be super positive moving into a place to better the experience of a new home. Also, brand new carpet meant any damage was going to be on us, and we did our fair share of wear and tear, so the used carpet
