They took over my lease without notice until it had been completed. When I gave my notice to vacate early, they listed the house without telling me and then made demands on showings that were unfair and not do-able. Getting a response in a reasonable amount of time from someone there is very difficult. I received my security deposit back short over $1,000 for repairs that were clearly falsified by the owner and I can't get a response. I'll likely be suing them since they have no interest in working with me. Do not rent a house they're managing as you will most certainly get screwed.

This is the first time our family has ever tried to rent out our home. Green residential did such a fantastic job explaining everything and walking us through the entire process from helping us with getting ready to listing. The owner Leon Green took his time to walk us through the whole process which makes us feel much comfortable about the process. Jorge Lopez, the make ready coordinator has done such a fantastic job getting the house cleaned up and ready for listing. Everyone, admittedly, I am one of those owners who usually does not leave reviews, but this one deserves a 5-Star all the way. This is coming from a person who is coming from a terrible management company experience where about 3 months of my time and money (lots of it) were wasted due to non-communication and sluggishness on their part. I am pretty patient, but was fed up with the lame stories of why my property was not listed after 2 months. Anyways, Green Residential has fully met my expectations after being with them for 10 months: fast communication on the Owner Portal, transparent communication

My wife and I rent a property managed by Green Residential and so far we're happy with the property management they provide. Maria Gallardo has been great to work with. So far it's a hard no for me. I moved into a property on 7/8/2021 that was never inspected. There are MULTIPLE repairs that should have been done prior to move in. I've submitted at least 10 repair request and have gotten "closed" tickets when not only has no work been done, I haven't even been contacted for an appointment. Not even a week in and I'm ready to run. It may get better, if so I'll adjust my review, but I'm not optimistic.

Terrible experiences dealing with their management. Have been a tenant of theirs for a year now. I will never lease from them, ever again.

The house was poorly built. When I say poorly, I mean poorly.

The first day I moved in, the shower had a leak. The plumber came in and said that he could only put a temporary sealant on the edge of the shower to prevent the leak, stating that the cause of the leak was due to management going against his advice on how to structure the shower/bathroom.

All of the outlets in the entryway and kitchen ended up going out. Had to get the breaker replaced &

They respond for rent and money deposits but fail to even pick up the phone when you are on your 8th day with no AC. It is 87 degrees in our house, and we can no longer live in those conditions. Still had to pay rent though. Need I say more?

I should of listened to all the reviews. Waste of time application process, they couldn't even be bothered to verify references themselves. Also, they lied on their HAR listing page saying 615 credit requirement when it's 700 and then would not let me use a cosigner. Instead making a ridiculous demand of a 4month rent deposit, most likely so can pillage from at the end of your lease as all the other comments go into detail about. They work for slum lords, and are out to take advantage of tenants.

Green Residential is a slum lord. If you choose to use them, familiarize yourself with the Texas Property Code and/or discuss your rights with an attorney first. And, always send a certified letter immediately with any maintenance report. They will not respond to it (we sent FOUR certified letters - no response), but this is needed in case you have to take legal action. We lived in our rental property for 32 days without a water heater, which was broken two weeks before the winter storm. Phone messages went unreturned, emails never answered, and the maintenance team would check in every few days

If you're already checking to see if this company is highly reviewed or not, might as well just pass.

During the chaos in 2020, my husband and I wanted to move to Texas from Oregon. We used the platform HAR.com which made it easy to find a new home. The first home I encountered, an agent named Claudia initially helped me find a new home for us easily and without trouble. She was the only agent who had helped me throughout the whole process even though the properties she was showing me was not listed as one of her listings.

We had a horrible experience with Leon and a property he was managing for us.
Back in 2015 our tenants reported mild coming out of the vents. Leon sent someone to look at the issue and they superficially cleaned the vents. Low and behold a week later the problem wasn't resolved and a second contractor came over. He said the mold was all over the vents and everywhere around the house. Leon pretty much said that he wanted to end the contract immediately. So he left us dealing with a huge issue and we were out of the country in the moment. We had to hop on plane paying almost $2k for our tickets

The worst experience ever! I was a tenant in one of their properties for 1 year, always paid on time, I had a good relationship with the owner of the house. I've vacated and turned the keys over on July 31st and till this day I have not had my security deposit back. They said it went by mail on the 3rd September, then this week they said they would make a direct deposit, then today, I just received an e-mail saying they are changing banks therefore need to finish that before they can refund me!!! Unbelievable!!

Leased Through Green for two years. They are somewhat unique in wanting to run their business 100% through E-Commerce, but I had no issues in getting timely responses to my correspondence.

The property was well maintained and in excellent condition.

The reason we moved is we purchased a home. We received 100% of our deposit within the timeline of Texas law.

I would not hesitate to use them again.

We were contacted by Green Residential to ask if due to the COVID-19, would we want to cancel our 2-year lease early? Why are the owner's worried about whether we can pay the rent when what will more than likely occur is that banks will NOT foreclose on properties since having heard this from President Trump and that New York is working with the banks to ensure that people not lose their properties because American's cannot go to work right now. I will celebrate the day I am no longer their owner client (soon). Absolutely abhorrent service even when you try to warn them of previous mistakes when repeating another task - like rekeying as one example. They have been nothing but headaches and you end up doubling the work of just doing it yourself by trying to fix their errors. Never again!

I will not be renting from this company solely based on the responses from management. Looks like every review on here Leon has replied with explanations and excuses as to why his company is in the right and why the reviewer is wrong.

I also attempted applying to rent a property with this company, but the ridiculous $75 application deterred me especially when other companies allow you to apply first and pay the application fee after you have been accepted. Sometimes it is more important to provide customer service than be in the right or make a few extra dollars.
