I was researching apartments to move to in the area, when I called and asked if there was anyone I could talk to about the options they offered. The first thing the lady said was "Well did you look on the website?" I said "Well yes but you know", like it struck me as weird that was the first thing she asked as opposed to saying what are you looking for. She then said "Well what do you want?" in a very annoyed and unprofessional manner. I then preceded to tell her you know what never mind have a nice day and she laughed. Overly priced for what you get. We were told when we signed the lease that it is non-smoking facilities, but we have neighbors who heavily smoke pot and it comes into our apartment.
I work 3rd shift and don’t get any sleep because of the person who lives below me. She has kids that are constantly running around/screaming/slamming doors/etc. Neighbors have no respect around here.
Management and the other 2 office ladies have hung up the phone on me multiple times when I’ve called to complain about something. For example when it was 100 degrees outside and my air wasn’t working, they refused

They raised my rent without telling me, 2 weeks later they sent me a notice to either move or pay them 631$ also my husband accidentally filled out a paper wrong and they evicted us over it. The new manager is extremely rude and so is the office staff. You will feel like your always walking on eggshells there.

I love it! My dog loves playing with other dogs in the dog park. Shana and Tiana have been great so far, very nice ladies every time I go into the office, and they always give my dog a treat! Maintenance guys are nice too, I haven't had to deal with them too much, but I had one small issue and they took care of it right away. Overall, I am happy to live here and I would recommend it! I know there are some bad reviews, but all I have to say is, go there and see for yourself. I have not had one bad experience.

There is so much to say but in one sentence they take care of you here.
I'm the dad who dropped his daughter off to get her internship completed.
My daughter did a whole lot of research and found this place to be the perfect spot for her and her roommate.
yes we had some issues yes there are some negative reviews but I have to say the issue we're taking care of within 12 hours.
Shana and Tiana are quite a team even after hours when we called left messages email to text by the next morning the problem we had was taken care of and they were happy to do it.

I have lived in Northwind Forest Apartments for two years, and will be moving out soon due to a job transfer. These apartments are very spacious and the neighborhood is generally very quiet, with some nice side streets to take a walk outside. The maintenance staff is very responsive and I have found the management staff to be punctual and friendly as well. My only minor complaint is the smoke smell in the hallways, especially in winter. There was also a basketball court outside when I first moved in, which I enjoyed, but they later took down :( Overall it was a great two years living here :)

The apartment was great when I moved in. Then I noticed that it may have been flooded when I began to smell the carpet. It smelled like a dog had lived in my unit previously and the carpet was not changed. They did later replace my carpet. A few months down the line I am having mold issues and the apartment is not doing anything to help. I live in a "garden" level apartment which is the basement. It is always freezing cold and my furniture always feels moist. The mold is growing on all of the clothes and shoes in my closet. This is a very uncomfortable place to live and I plan to move as soon as

I am nearing the end of my lease and will be moving out of town. Have lived here for almost 2 years. The apartments are larger than most others in the area, especially for the price. Management is excellent at handling any issues (the only one I've ever had was a broken garbage disposal) and they do a nice job at keeping the complex looking nice. Highly recommend living here if you are looking for an apartment in Midland.

Our experience at Northwind Forest Apartments has been great. When we were planning to move to Midland we started to look for a new place and drove around the area looking for the right place to live . Northwind was the first place we saw and we loved it. However, we kept looking for more alternatives . We saw 7 other apartments in the area but we had always our mind in the place we had seen first. We like the nature and Northwind has it . The woods behind the building are amazing and just to be close to the bike trails encouraged us to ride our bikes all the way to downtown Midland in the summer
