Emily is like a fair godmother sent to rescue us from bad hair. She is kind and caring. She took my PCOS super thin/ fine hair as turned it into a head of natural curls that I feel proud of. I have really struggled to find someone who truly understands thin and fine hair. She made me feel truly beautiful. More importantly she made me feel safe. Could not recommend more.

Amanda was amazing! I just moved to Austin and couldn't have had a better experience. They are being very COVID safe. From the moment I walked in I felt relaxed. The place smells so good. Amanda sat me down and we went over what I like in a cut. She was really good at explaining what she was doing the whole time. My hair has never looked better. Thank you Amanda.🤩

Single star based on the fact that this salon lacks the courtesy to return phone calls. Guess they don't want my business. Guess they won't get my business. Big mistake. No way to run a business -- no matter how good their stylists are. One star . . . Wish I could give them no stars.

Still no return call. I need a haircut. I need a color assessment. I need someone to French braid my hair every other day. As I said -- big mistake - huge . . . Not to want my business. Can only hope they don't last long as a viable business.

My husband has never had a better hair cut! Emily is magically amazing. Her choices for product match his cut and hair texture perfectly. It's really hard to find someone who can work with his silky fine curly hair. We are so blessed to have found her! Oh, and Frida Doggo is my favorite mascot. Of course.

I saw Christina for the first time last week and I'm still glowing. She really listened and heard what I wanted... more than any other stylist ever had. My appointment was part color correction and part fresh new haircut. She did both with perfection. I mean my hair is just a dream. I feel happier now looking in the mirror, and maybe that seems vain but after not liking your hair for so long... anyway, thanks so much Christina!

I am very particular about who I let cut my hair, but when I moved to Austin I didn't know where to go. I tried Luminosity and I am glad to say that I will be back. Emily is amazing and treats you like a person - no awkward silences/trying to force conversation - or - someone talking you ear off. Emily was so balanced, knowledgeable, and friendly that I can't see anyone else cutting my hair for a long time.

The atmosphere of the salon feels like home, very airy with lots of natural light - and a great spot for people watching as people walk their dogs, babies, or dogs and babies.

Gah, where to begin. When your hair is naturally laser-straight, it is a relief to find a stylist who share the same problem (blessing?). A dear friend from high school recommended Christina when she was at another East Austin salon, and I of course followed her here. My friend's hair is amazing. And now my hair is too, when I actually do something with it. Be warned: She, and the other stylists here, book out months in advance. I've never scheduled appointments this far out for anything in my life, but it's worth it. Apart from her scissor skills, Christina is a great person and

I have had several hair styleists over the course of my life, but I have never had one like Emily. She has exceptional sense of style and applies it masterfully to her medium. I get a great men's haircut every time that I see her. She's also so personable and funny that I look forward to seeing her at my appointment every 6 weeks!
The R+Co hair product line that she carries is expensive (for a guy that is used to the "LA Looks" hair budget), but it is very high quality and goes a long way. I would definitely recommend trying a sample of one of the shampoos and sculpting pastes.

Chelsea did a great job cutting my hair. She took the time to explain everything that she was doing, and told me what I can do at home to maintain the style. She was very knowledgeable and asked me questions about my routine so that she could work with me to find the style that works best. The studio itself is relaxing and gives off a chill vibe. I'm already looking forward to getting my hair cut again.
