The property in East Albany Park is huge for a very reasonable price. Four bedroom/3 bathroom at $550/person, and they haven't raised the rent despite the large property tax increase last year.
For the things that matter, they are really good. Fixing issues and responding to anything that is wrong with the apartment is always done swiftly (dryer, water leak, faucet). Yes, they are hard to get a hold of sometimes, but they never screw you over. For example, we didn't even sign the lease before we moved in and it was not a huge deal. Nick came over to our apartment with the lease

I've lived in a Windy City owned apartment for six months and I've had no issues. Our building is great and has free laundry, and you can't beat the location. Eric was very accommodating whenever we had questions or had maintenance requests- usually Maciek came over the next day. Erik also never increased our rent above a normal rate, which was important to my roommates who had been living in the apartment for years. Overall a great time!

I can only speak from my own expereince with Eric. But it is much more positive than the reviews stated before mine. We started renting out the garage space from the property next door, which Eric manages, back in Oct 2015. It was a simple process of exchanging a few emails and meeting up one evening afterwork to get the keys and opener. Eric was right on time and even waived the security deposit for us.
Last week our garage door was NOT operating normally. Within 24hrs Eric had someone out to repair it for us. I thought the quick responsive was great.

Yikes...maybe Im tired of looking for places, or maybe Eric really pissed me off...or maybe both? Anyway, I had an appt to look at a place, I received an email an hour prior to the showing which was scheduled per Eric right when everyone was commuting from work...his last email 'ok see you there at 6:45.' Guess who didn't see Eric at 6:45...This girl. I made my way over to the apt, it was a nice night so I kinda walked the streets for a few....ok for 30 minutes. Waiting. Tick Tock. Called, emailed, and text Eric with NO RESPONSE. How unprofessional and just tacky in general

Windy City Realty very shady. I tried to do rent to own South of Chicago. Never Ever able to speak wth actual owner of home ..Salta Group inc. which is now in chapter 11 . I had to get water on myself by installing at my own cost which reimbursement was promised by Broker (Ray Casali )whom insisted spoke with owner on my behalf. Word of advise never do business with brokers aka. cash cows.

Shady company with shady people running it. They changed their story a couple of times as to why they could not give me my security deposit back. I was hung up on by them today when I confronted them about not giving my deposit back. I was told to take the matter to court. They are rude and shady. Stay away!

I have been a resident in one of Windy city Realty's properties for a little over two years. The property I live at is located in a great neighborhood and at an amazing price, 1,600/mo for a three bedroom, 1 bath, with backyard and two huge living spaces.
