Unified Martial Arts Academy
Unified Martial Arts Academy offers the highest quality training for kids and adults in Karate, Ju-jitsu, weapon arts, and fitness kickboxing. The focus is not on competitions or trophies, but simply applying the discipline and health benefits of training into one's everyday life. In our fast-paced society, training offers another way, an old way based on self-discipline and warrior tradition.

In a world that feels very hurried, the martial way can bring about greater balance and focus.
Services
The founder of the dojo, Sensei Cory Albert, has over 35 years of training and has been running his school for 25 years. Sensei Albert has his black belt in Chinese Kempo, which included training in Ju-jitsu (grappling) and Kali (Filipino stick, knife, and empty-hand art). In 1996, Sensei Albert began his study of Japanese swordsmanship, and he instructs students with the wooden sword (bokken) as part of their regular training at the dojo.
Sensei Albert can help answer any questions you may have regarding your Martial Arts or Kickboxing training. You get to choose the area to focus on: Karate, Kali, Ju-jitsu, Swordsmanship, Kickboxing, Strength and Fitness, etc. Like a regular class, you will work on techniques, drills, and conditioning exercises for your skill and fitness level.
Our Little Warriors and Junior Warriors Program is taught by wife and co-owner, Mrs. Trudi Albert. She holds the rank of black belt in Chinese Kempo, Ju-jitsu, and Filipino Kali. Taking her experience and energy working with children in public education, she has developed a program that kids love, and parents love even more.
Learn all the fundamentals of concealed carry and the rules of deadly force. This class will cover situational awareness, defensive shooting, firearm basics and safety, the physiology of fight or flight, and more. All experience levels are welcome, and you don't have to own a firearm.

In addition to basic permit class requirements, this training includes work on proper grip, stance, awareness drills, creating distance, issuing commands, drawing from the holster, moving and shooting, simulated knife attack, etc.The training is fun, and you will feel like you've really learned something!

Very welcoming and is like a second family. I don't think I will ever come across a better dojo than this one.

My daughter approached us over almost two years ago about joining Kick Boxing. We then sought out classes and turned out our son wanted to join too. They both decided they would like to try Karate, again we agreed. This then led to our third child wanting to join. I have seen such great joy come from my children and thier desire to learn the martial way. They have GREAT respect for Sensi Corey and quote him quite often. They practice what they learn inside the dojo in everything they do. The way they look at obsticals and challenges is very different than most children their age. He has taught the

I am writing to express my most enthusiastic recommendations for the Unified Martial Arts Academy. Upon my reflection of my nearly nine years at Unified Martial Arts Academy earning a Black Belt. I can confidently state that becoming a student at the school was one of the most productive and positive decisions I have made. I started as a student in my early thirties. Many adults feel uncomfortable about beginning a commitment well into their career since they have not been in a "learning" environment for a long time. That is a big mistake. Personal growth and knowledge should never
